I LOVE the first one!

We are each having 3 also and the total number of guests is around 35 including our wedding party. To each its own. It all depends on what you want. I don't think either will look bad.

I am using Tropical Weddings Jamaica and having my reception at Evita's so I just wanted to say if you choose them you won't be disappointed. I am very pleased with them thus far!

I had this problem with my group back in Jan. The travel agent pushed back our deadline three times because our group was slacking so much. The last and final deadline was 2-1-09 and everyone booked except my MOH and my FI's family. They say they are going to just pay the higher amount and so be it. I think all of us brides gave everyone so much time because it is alot of money but if people don't take the responsibility to book when they have the info they need to do so, i.e your Save The Date, then I wouldn't send out another reminder. I thought about that also because I noticed not everyone has RSVP'd and I specifically asked them all to RSVP on our website but then I decided, like someone else said, these people are adults!! I'm not reminding them of anything else.

I really want to do OOT bags and the plan is to put the travel mugs inside. My FI wants to do shot glasses. The plan is to put the shot glasses at each setting and the travel mugs in the OOT bags. If I can talk him out of the shot glasses then we will probably just do candy since that's probably the least expensive favor there is.

Jamie, your pictures were amazing and you looked so beautiful! Sorry Almarie wasn't a delight to work with but at least your day was still amazing. The set up - from what I can see looks great! Virg, who's the seller for the monogram drinking cups? Is it a good price? I was looking on discountmugs.com because I really want to include these in our OOT bags but its adding up to be almost 150.00 and I really didn't want to spend that much.

MarieSam, NO DRESS?!?! Definitely go shopping this weekend. I'm kinda freaking out myself because I still have so much to do. I just started getting back into doing things a couple days ago. We aren't sending out invitations for the wedding because we know everyone who's coming as they have already booked. I willl, however, be sending out a reminder for people to RSVP on our website since we aren't sending out invitations. The things I'm working on right now are all the small details: -trying to find table runners -guestbook & pen -sandframe -mongram parasol -broom for jumping the broom -hair ideas...way behind with this! -OOT bags. I know the things I want but I don't know how far in advance I should get them since I don't know the accurate final number of my guests. -picking a wedding cake -I have to put together our menu I am determined to pick a bridesmaid dress this weekend for my girls and get them ordered no later than the first week of feburary. I'm not terribly behind schedule but it has the potential to get that way if I don't get back on the ball now.

I am using them and they are really reasonable and Rosemarie does respond very quickly. Plus her designs are really pretty. I'm actually faxing my deposit to her tomorrow morning.

I went in today and got 3 for my bridesmaids, 1 for myself and 1 for my mom. That really is a great price!!! I got the cream and gold ones. They are SOOOO big and roomy. I can't wait to figure out what I'm going to put in them

I heard that if you want to get in the water its better have a lace front wig rather than a sew in. Do you guys think this is true? I decided that I don't want braids either and I've decided on a lace front wig. I'll just splurge and get really good hair and then have them style my hair at the salon at the hotel. I agree though...any pics....PLEASE POST!

Your dress was beautiful! and everyone looked like they had a great time. Where did you get your bridesmaid dresses from? I'm looking for some in that exact color.

I feel this exact same way! I haven't done anything wedding related for the past month and I'm dreading starting back up the process in January...we are also taking a break until January. I find myself thinking why don't I just hire a wedding planner and I can just tell her what I want done. Gosh. I don't even want to register in 2 weeks. How sad.

I have to agree. I don't think you should base it on the number of guests you are expecting. I think you should completely pick the people who you want standing up there with you on your day. My FI is having like 9 guys be in the wedding but our guest lists is probably not going to exceed 35 or 40 from what its looking like.

I would really love to include some things from Jamaica in my OOT bags but how do I find them? I've searched online trying to find some things and the only thing I found were the minature rum bottles. Can you suggest any websites? And I think most people stick with the traditional OOT bag stuff, like I am including sunscreen in ours, is because those are the things you think the guests will use. You figure, they're going to a beach so they should use this stuff, ya know.

I'm sorry you have so many issues with the WC and that sucks about the DJ but it really does sound like you didn't let any of it affect your day and that's great! btw: your hair looked beautiful!! The hairdresser did a great job on it!

I am having this exact problem right now. My FI has invited like 45 people (when our total guest list is supposed to be 40) and every other day one of the people he invited is RSVPing on our website for them and another person. I find myself asking him pretty often who these people are. They may be girlfriends or boyfriends but I have not met ANY of these people. I wanted to do the group photo because I think its cute but I don't want a photo with a bunch of people I don't know. Consider yourself lucky that only one person wants to bring a guest. Oh and we are staying at an AI but we are getting married offsite so we have to pay for every person who attends the ceremony and reception. I, like you, thought it was rude for people to just assume they can bring a guest but what can you do when technically its their vaca too. Let me know what you decide to do so I can do it too! lol

I LOVE number 1 for a couple reasons. I think it has the vintage look that your aiming for and I absolutely love the details of it! You also look very sexy in it! Number 2 is just kinda blah to me.

Hey ladies. I am in the same boat with alot of you. I just got tired of doing wedding stuff for a while with life and everything LOL. The plan is for me and my FI to do our wedding menu using Vistaprint over christmas as well as work on our ceremony. I'm also going to light a fire under my bridesmaids to purchase their dresses. We just got our deadline for everyone to pay their deposit....its December 1st so in about a week we will have an idea of who is serious about attending the wedding. The price increased once already so we were telling people if they are serious, now is the time to pay the deposit. I think that's all I have planned for December LOL.

I saw both. I liked The Happening but I wouldn't classify it as a horror movie. I wouldn't say it was a great movie. Just Ok. The Strangers had potential but the ending just ruined the entire movie for me. Its definitely scary. I think if you want a scary movie and aren't expecting a "great" movie, I'd put The Strangers on the list and keep The Happening off.
