We would like a very relaxed and casual reception... Would your recommend maybe Tiki's Grill & Bar or Dukes?

Hey Girls, IM GOING MENTAL!! I am in such a rut. Heres the story: I have already sent out my Invitations (with reception venue) on them, yes i know I was very keen however I wanted to give everyone plenty of time to save since coming all from Australia. Now originally, we had planned to attend the Royal Hawaiian Hotel Luau, and the price before the renos was approx $99.00 per person. I have emailed the hotel and they now tell me that it is $175.00 per person. I dropped dead. I was maybe thinking up around $120-130. I dont think we would be able to afford this amount anymore... Because with the Aussie dollar so low as where it is at now would cost us $275.00 a pop x 30-35 people = ALOT OF MONEY! Now, can anyone help me with suggestions with what I could do... Maybe a dinner somewhere? Any restruants in Waikiki that are good for receptions anyone can recommend? I was looking forward to the Luau as It was entertainment and Dinner all rolled into one! Hopefully, no one will longer attend and they will have to drop there prices! Thanks so much!

Hey!! Can anyone recommend any Ukele Soloists who service Oahu for Wedding Ceremonies? And if anyone has any links to websites, so I can check them out this would be a fantastic help. THANKS!!

G'Day Elle, We just got back from our wedding planning trip and we actually had our photos done at Waimanalo Beach. All I can say about it is that it is just like the photos you see. Absolutley beautiful!

G'Day Girls! Im soooo excited. Leaving the land down under for my wedding planning trip to Hawaii for 3 nights before going to NY for Christmas and Las Vegas for New Years and then Cali for a week! Im guessing approx maybe about $50 Aussie Dollars. I printed everything at home, mum stole (hehe borrowed) the white card stock from her school. I only really paid for the turqouise card - 25 sheets, ribbon and the bling and paper fastners. I have made about 20 of them so far! still a few more to go!
