I told my guests what I was doing on a particular day and if they wanted to join us, they were welcomed to. We went horseback riding at Chukka Cove one day. Another day we went to Dunns River and a couple of days after the wedding (for any remaining guests) we went to Bob Marley's resting place in St Anns. We spread out the excursions throughout the week and whoever was available either tagged along or hung out at the resort. Some guests didn't arrive in time for some of the excursions, but didn't really miss out because the resort in itself was lots of fun. Hope this helps!! No problem! Thanks for the tips, I really appreciate it I am not completely ruling out the steakhouse just yet, because I typically go to Jamaica in August and have been once in March and usually I don't get too hot especially during the evenings. So I am thinking that as long as there is some kind of breeze everyone should be ok, and if they get too hot they can take a quick step outside to the open air to cool off. I plan on going sometime this August so I may either stay a couple days at the Iberostar or just stop by to see if I can pick up some info about the excursions to put together a packet for my guests. I will probably do as you did and not have too many planned events, but I do think the catamaran cruise would be fun!! Thanks again!

I'm really sorry to hear about this... But I was wondering if you sent her your deposit in Paypal? If so, you could file a complaint with them for non-receipt of services and have them initiate the process of getting your money refunded back to you. I really hope everything works out for you... There is nothing that I hate more is someone trying to scam or rip others off, but I always say that karma is a B!$%H!!

Hi Ladies, I have a few questions... briscoe, I know you mentioned it was pretty hot at the steakhouse restaurant. If I were to choose one of the alternative indoor restaurants, do you know if there is enough space inside to have a dance floor set-up? Also, do you know if there area is pretty private and away from the other guests dining? I have been thinking of excursions for my guests, do any of you know if the Iberostar has a catamaran available to do a booze cruise?

You are very welcome ladies!! I haven't made any yet, but here are the instructions from the website where I found the labels: Using a template, I designed my own personalized water bottle labels. Using different fonts and our wedding colors, I made them my own. Then I printed them on full sheet waterproof labels using my at home printer and cut them to size using my paper cutter. I bought water bottles from Walmart, removed the product labels and carefully put on my own labels. I plan to include these in my OOT boxes for our guests. This is a simple project any bride can do that gives a touch of personalization sure to impress any guest. The labels can be altered so we can use them at the bridal shower or even the bachelorette party.

I do have one question... Was the river closed to the hotel guests during the ceremony? Because I noticed that in one of the pics that Nicole sent me of the set-up earlier, you could see a couple guests floating along the river.

I can't even take anymore pics in my dress because they sold the sample a few weeks ago I really wanted to try it on again, but I guess I will just have to settle for the pics I have from the first time I tried it... doblauvelt, I'm not sure about anyone with large bridal parties for a DW but my friend was in a wedding that had 42 person bridal party!!! In fact the wedding was recently on Whose Wedding is It Anyway.
