  1. Hi Ladies!! Petals and Chickadee would either of you ladies mind sending me the photographers pricing info you have?? My address is [email protected]. Although I'm sure they will prob increase their prices by the time I would need to book, it would help me a lot to have somewhat of a starting point. Thanks for your help!!
  2. Thanks everyone!!! What you said make perfect sense to me now shellb... Once I do decided on a location I will try to see if there is a way that I could negotiate a slightly lower price or have something similar to what ginalynn is doing. Thanks again for the info!!!
  3. Those flowers are absolutely beautiful!!!
  4. Hi Ladies... I have been doing a little research on weddings at all-inclusive resorts but most packages I've seen list prices for between 8-12 guests. I am planning on having about 40-60 guests, but I have noticed that most resorts charge about $50 per person for the reception. Now this may sound a little dumb, but I am wondering why I have to pay an additional fee per guest to have dinner at the reception when they are already paying to stay at an AI resort? I'm still very new to this so any help will be greatly appreciated Christina
  5. Caroline, I do have a few pics from the GP but not as many as I would like because I gave my camera to my future brother-in-law so that I could pay full attention to Charmane while she showed us around... and unfortunately he didn't get pics of everything we saw. I have been kinda busy and haven't uploaded my pics but as soon as I do I will try to post them on here for you to see!!! And don't worry I'm sure everything will turn out to be just perfect. Take care!! Christina

    Hi!!!

Thanks everyone for such a warm welcome!!!! It makes me even more excited about the planning process knowing that I can share it with such a wonderful group...
  7. Hi Ladies!! I just joined this board yesterday so I am kinda new to this. But I was just in Jamaica a few days ago and I had an opportunity to speak with Charmane and she took me and my fiance on a tour of the property, and it is sooo huge!!! The rooms were all quite nice, even the basic room was beautiful. She showed me the four designated wedding areas on the property and for those of you who are looking at the gazebo as a location, there are currently in the process of moving that to a new location. It will be in a garden type setting but it overlooks the ocean, so you are getting the best of both worlds. From what I saw, when it is complete it will be quite breathtaking. She also mentioned that although they have designated areas, if you see another place on the property that you would much rather have then they would try their best to accommodate. Everything else I saw everything was absolutely amazing. Because they just opened a little over a month ago there is still quite a bit of finishing touches going on... There were a few people still out landscaping and painting, the casino hasn't been completed, and I believe one of the buffet restaurants has yet to open. The beaches are still being worked on, and since they were all manmade they are trying to remove some of the rocks that are closer to the sand areas. They are also planning a second phase to the property which will add about 1000 more rooms, and make the property even more spectacular. I hope this helps Christina
