  1. Hi Sarah!! So sorry to hear that your wedding had to be cancelled because of the swine flu madness... It's insane how outta control it has gotten. But at least you were able to figure out an alternative and be our first Iberostar Suites Bride!!! I hope everything works out for you, and that it's everything you dreamed your wedding day would be (minus the Mexico part) =) Good luck!!!
  2. They have just recently changed their price list, so the only one I have is the most recent one before the changes. I will send that to you.
  3. Your video was absolutely beautiful!!! It's like a movie trailer of your wedding
  4. I think now is the best time to try out one of the styles you are considering for your wedding day!! I would have her style it the way you want it, but at night you can always pincurl it to maintain the curls, and on the day of your shower just pin it back up the same way your stylist did.
  5. Congrats on booking your date!!! Another item to cross off your to-do list
  6. That is such a great idea... Thanks for the tip!!!!
  7. I am also thinking about booking Sungold for my wedding... I have heard nothing but great reviews of them and their work pretty much speaks for itself!!
  8. Sparkles your pics were amazing!!! You look like you had a great time. I am so excited and I can't wait to go back. And thanks again for sending me the template for the STD letter!!

There are 2 resorts coming is Jamaica the Secrets Montego Bay and St. James. I think the only major difference appears to be the decor, one (the St. James) has a British colonial feel and the other more Islandy feel. But they are right beside each other and share the common area's. Anyway , here is a link, but you should do a search there are more sites with info: Secrets St. James - Home Page Thanks for the link!!! They both look nice, just too bad they aren't scheduled to open until the end of this year....

Then to top it off, I am doing TTD photos on Saturday. :-P I think you may be ok at the ROR. If you look at this review, they seemed to do a pretty good job on her hair. http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t40684 Since you have such an early time for your wedding I would suggest that you do your roller set the night before and have them pin curl it for you to sleep on it. That way the next morning your hair would already be curled and all they would have to do is style your pin up for you.
  12. Hi Ladies, I found this Iberostar forum online. It has tons of pics and info about all of their resorts. IBEROSTAR HOTELS & RESORTS MESSAGE BOARD | IBEROSTAR REVIEWS & PHOTOS - Index Christina
  13. Hi Mary, I just sent you the link to the pics. I want to do a welcome reception, but I'm not sure how expensive that would be. Also, do you know whether or not they do a formal wedding rehearsal??
  14. I wouldn't mind having that dress either, it's so fab!!! But I'm sure it's prob from someone's couture collection
  15. That's Keisha Whitaker, Forest Whitaker's wife... Surprising isn't it!! I really love this style, just wish I could find a closer pic of the side.
  16. Let's see if I can get this to work... So far this is my #1 pick This one is running in 2nd place: And if I decided to go for a sleeker look, I will be doing something like this:
  17. Savannah you are hilarious!!! Let me read up on how to add pics, and I will add my pics to the post.
  18. You are very welcome!!! I will also send you the info that I received from the coordinator that describes each of the locations. As of now she mentioned there were only three locations available, two on the beach and the gazebo which only holds about 20 or so people. I hope they can come up with some alternatives because I didn't want to to a beach ceremony and I'm sure that I will have more than the 20. Both beach locations accommodate about 200 people. So you will be just fine!! We are in similar situations! My fiance has family in Jamaica, so the issue of what to do about the day pass fee has been a bit of a problem. To add to it, some of his family members living here have already expressed that they would prefer to stay at his mom's house in Falmouth. So he was thinking about trying to help with the cost for those living in Jamaica, and as for those coming from the states if they choose to stay off property they will just have to cover the cost of the passes themselves. Initially we wanted to have no more than 60 guest, but we just finished our guest list and it's at about 100 people!!! I was totally freaking out... But I figured that everyone we invite won't be able to make it so that should cut the list down (crossing fingers).
