  1. thanks so much for the info...I have looked at the site and put in my request...we will see what they come back with...
  2. I would love to see pictures of your OOT bag...can you post a pic or two?
  3. I am with you Amy706...My guy won't wear a watch and not sure if his ring will stay on his finger either...he just does not do jewelery. However...I love the letter or love note on the morning of the wedding day. That is a great thing to give...but for a long term gift I am not sure myself... I know my g/f got her husband a flask and another g/f got her husband a cigar holder with engraving on it... I just really want something that will not site on a shelf forever and not be used! Let brainstorm some ideas....
  4. If you put it in word or in Microsoft publisher you can right click on the image and change the color or transparency of the image. Then you can add a text box and write on top of it. When you are finished you can save it and then make changes to it in paint or other photo editing programs. Then you can add it to the email as an attachment or put it right into the email. You can not do the editing in Outlook. Good Luck!

I just read on the Cancer Society site that they say between $5.00 and $10.00 per guest as a donation and they include either place cards, thank you cards or In Honor cards...that is pretty cool! Wedding celebration program
  6. I love the idea...I have always wondered though how much do you give? I think I would do this for sure if I just knew how to choose how much? What looks cheap? What would be over board?
  7. Either shirt one or shirt two...love the pink/coral on your skin color...but the white also looks really good in b/w photos...so I guess it is up to you...but definitely not the black!
  8. I really love Maggie gowns..and she has a destination section with some cute short dresses...check it out Destinations Collection

  10. Well it depends what the costs are going to be...I gave my guests a little over a year to save for the DW as it can be costly or hard for people to save in a short time. Remember that even if the wedding is in 7 months usually the full payments have to be in at least a month of more in some cases before the actual wedding so that leaves 5 months for guests to save up. It also depends on how much planning you will do and how much time you have. It can be done it just depends on what you want and what is available at the resort or place you choose. Good Luck!
  11. Those are absolutely beautiful....I just love those shots! Perfect day...lots of fun...
  12. Things that I would compete for: - Restaurant outings..maybe something unique - Poker chip set or something similar - Tools always work for the men - Computer gear - like a cordless mouse, keyboard combo or external hard drive - Camera - digital - Movies, DVD's - Ipod or Ipod accessories (stereo) - Camping gear (tent, sleeping bags, etc.) - Couple's photo session with a photographer - Board games - Name brand clothing (LuLu Lemon) - sweaters, jackets, etc. - Art work (paintings, masks, etc.) I hope that gives you some ideas!
  13. Can you make the picture non-downloadable as it takes away points to see it... thanks!

I can get him the Lederhosen shorts, suspenders, shirt and hat and I'll get the little German biergarten girl dress and we'll carry around our steins. I'm going to check eBay for that sort of stuff b/c I don't want to buy those 1-piece costumes... That sounds really cute...now I just need to convince my guy to dress up in something other than a penis outfit! LOL Have fun with it.

  16. Well there are many ideas for couples...I will start my list...LOL - plug and plug in - batman and batwoman - Louis and superman (if your man likes tights) - hippies (he is the woman and she is the man) - The Incredibles (mom and dad in red suits) - Toga/Roman couple (just get some sheets!) - Hugh H and a playboy bunny - King and Queen of hearts - playing cards (just need cardboard and some artistic talent) - Bacon and eggs...I have seen this it was very cute! - Dunkin Donuts (you dress as basketball players with donuts around your middle) (play on words) - Popeye and Olive - Dog the Bounty Hunter and his woman Beth - Dice - Game boards (use some of your favorite games and make an outfit looking like it) - Clue game characters (the board game) - Flinstones characters - Raggedy Ann and Andy - Simpsons - Smurfs - Palm tree and coconut - AND SO MUCH MORE! I hope you get some idea building from some ideas... I have seen so many costumes!
  17. Well I would also suggest CUBA as a resort of choice as I am getting married at Sol Cayo Largo and it will definitely be under 10 grand. Sol Melia Wedding in Cuba. Wedding planning, Wedding reception. Our entire wedding including my dress, his attire, flowers, etc...will come under our 10 grand budget and we are having approximately 25 guest or more coming from all provinces. I used a TA but he was not specialized in DW but just a TA that we have used for many years. Good Luck...I have also heard Jamaica is a good cheap choice too! Look for the resorts that offer free weddings with so many guests...ours is free because we have our 25 guests!
  18. I just noticed we are wedding date twins...I still love this idea and I want to start something similar as well! Thanks...this is very inspiring!
  19. If you do a search in the forum for wedding rings or rings...there are many other forums that come up with lots of information in them...take a look!
