The detailing is so minimal that I think he should wear it. If he has his jacket on, you will barely notice it. If you love the shirt and he looks good in it, then go for it! You are the bride and groom and should be able to wear whatever you choose!

Meyer2010- that is a great idea! I wish I would have had more time to do something myself. I just finished grad school this week so I was limited on time to do the DIY projects. I am so glad I had someone else do this for me!

Have u looked at AC Moore? They have silver letters that I think are about 3-4 inches high. They are less than $20, I can't remember the exact price.

Hey ladies! I waited until the last minute on ordering my cups, but was still able to find a site that only required a minimum of 50 cups instead of the 200+ that most require. I got 16 oz and decided not to put our names on them, I figured people would use them more after if they just said the location and the date. I just chose a simple palm tree, which was already available as a choice, it was super easy. The 50 cups totalled $81, but on short notice that worked great for me! I found a fabulous Etsy seller, by the name of ItsMyDay. She made a wonderful guestbook for our wedding and also made a photoalbum/scrapbook for my MOH. This is going to be my gift for her! Here are some pics from my final fitting! Don't mind the hair... I just pulled it up in a clip to get it out of the way. Don't mind the wrinkles... the seamstress was running behind so I tried it on before they finished steaming it... I couldn't wait! Here's the front, the one side looks funny because I have it bustled in the back. It won't look like that on my day. ' alt='a>'> And here's the back. ' alt='a>'> While I was waiting, another bride was trying on the same dress. i had my fingers crossed that she would hate it! I didn't want another bride with my dress! I know that realistically that is not going to happen, but I don't want to see someone else choose it! She said it was too sexy and clingy! LOL! Damn right it's sexy!!!

If you book online before you arrive you get 10% off bride and groom services and your wedding party gets 5% off. You have to put 50% down and they send you the vouchers with your appointments and times. Once you get to the resort, before your wedding day you need to go in person to confirm.

Hi ladies! The knife set is just for registering, but you have to send in some paperwork with a copy of your registery to prove that you did have that amount. There is a $50 gift card for purchasing $300 worth of Caphalon, so the person buying it, gets the gift card. My coworkers bought me the Caphalon and were nice enough to give me the $50 gift card as well! Hope this info helps!

Maureen- Thanks for the heads up! I was planning on bringing my own makeup for them. I am a nurse so the idea of brushes and makeup used on someone else being put on my face grosses me out!

We will see each other then! My appts are for 11 am, but I am going to move them up when we arrive b/c my MOH is going to get her hair done as well. There are 3 of us getting our hair done: me, my MOH and my mom. I am undecided on letting them do my makeup... What are u having done? 22 days! 3 weeks from tomorrow we will be wives!!

The pool is closed. From what other people have said there is a walkway that goes right by the pool, so there is a chance that people will be walking by, but I doubt you will even notice.

Hi ladies, Just wanted to add an update to this thread. I emailed Chandlyn to inquire about the IPOD connection for a poolside dinner/reception. Nekiesha responded to my email and said that I would have to rent the DJ equipment, which includes the speakers and a microphone, for $90/hour. The cost stinks, but it may be worth it to not have to lug my own set up down there. Just wanted to let you ladies know!

Where in Florida are you getting married? If you will be in the Miami area you could use some Cuban inspired ideas. Also, South Beach so anything that is colorful and art deco. Flamingos are very southern florida.

Oh they also had some cute smaller sized canvas bags in all different colors for those of you that are still looking for a giftbag that is on the smaller side.

I just went to Michael's today in Savannah, Ga. They had tons of those luggage tags and some cute ones with letters on them. I got decks of playing cards in a plastic box for $1 each. I think these will be great for our guests and then they won't get wet in a beach/pool bag. We found some cute kid's games for $1 each as well. Great buys!

Hey Bradley's girl! I was raised in PA so I am also a huge Eagles fan! A few of my guests are as well. I am hoping that somehow we will get to see the game on TV while we are down there! How long are u guys staying? If you are still there on that Sunday, maybe we can all watch together!

Glamourina - So glad things are working out!! I was VERY nervous after reading your posts. I am glad that you were happy with the flowers that you did use for your ceremonies. Can't wait to see some pics! Congrats! I am also using Bittersweet and Crystal sent me an email to assure me that I will have my flowers in time for my wedding and that they will be ready to ship by 8/29. I just hope I get to see some pics of them first!
