I told them this would cut down on the emails they get from me inquiring about shipping b/c I can just track it myself. So far no response. I am not going to bother calling b/c I always get a voicemail. Obviously she didn't rush ship the flowers as promised b/c I would have already received them if she had sent them last Wednesday. I leave early Tuesday morning for Jamaica... the clock is ticking. I will keep you updated....

what do you think?
Scott-Pierre replied to stevensFiance's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
I love these kind of candles! They put out a nice glow of light and will provide a great ambiance! They are a pretty blue color. I hope they look great in person! -
LF: Cake topper letter "L"
Scott-Pierre replied to AJandNate2010's topic in Buy / Sell / Trade Archives
I was at AC Moore on Saturday and they had most of the wedding stuff on sale for 40% off. I am not sure how long the sale will last but it is worth checking out. The monogram letters were part of the sale. -
Help! I love two dresses.
Scott-Pierre replied to *kellis*'s topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
You look great in both of them but I have to go with Number One! You are petite and this dress shows off your figure. I think you will be more comfortable in this one on the beach as the other one looks like it may have some layering underneath the skirt. -
Just wanted to add an update.... Crystal was supposed to send out my flowers on Wednesday via rush delivery and she promised to email me a tracking number that same morning. I sent an email to her that night to make sure she sent them out since I had less than 2 weeks until leaving for Jamaica and never received the promised eamil. No response. I gave her another whole day thinking she may be busy. I didn't bother to call b/c the 2 times I have tried I always got the voicemail and she responded through email anyway. I gave her a whole day and then on Friday I emailed again asking for the tracking number that was promised as it was less than a week and a half til my departure. Her assistant emailed me back last night saying she is sure Crystal sent the flowers out but Crystal was "in the city" doing another wedding and probably had the tracking number in her car. So for 2 days it has been sitting in her car? I am beyond disappointed with this company's lack of communication. Don't promise a client that you are going to do something if you don't intend to do it. I have never been demanding or overwhelmed her with a million emails or calls. This is not the first time. She was supposed to send me a pic of the bouquet for approval this past Sunday. I didn't receive it until Tuesday. However, she made some posts on this very forum on Sunday, so obviously she was on her computer and could have sent the pics. I have tried to be very laid back about this situation since I know she got sick. I kept telling myself that as long as I get my flowers in time, that is all that matters. But after I see that she had time to post stuff on here, arguing with another bride, I was just over it! Sorry ladies, I just needed to vent!

Is there a per person charge over 60 guests at RIU?
Scott-Pierre replied to nic123's topic in Jamaica Accommodations & Site
From my understanding and what I read on the website, the ROR can hold a max of 100 wedding guests. i would go to the Riu site and look under your specific hotel. For your dinner options, the free dinner is only for up to 50 guests, so you would have to pay for one of the private options. -
Stamperamma- I understand. I am trying not to be pessimistic but I always have the florist at the resort for backup. Crystal was supposed to mail my order out yesterday and email me a tracking number. I emailed her last night and am waiting to hear from her and get the tracking number. My fingers are crossed!

My Dress!!!!!
Scott-Pierre replied to Scott-Pierre's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Thanks ladies!! -
We did the same as everyone else. We registered out of fear of what we could get and then just told our guests not to get us anything. Of course, some of them still did, and they appreciated the registry so they knew they were getting us something we wanted. Don't feel guilty!

We Got Our Rings!!!
Scott-Pierre replied to *Karla*'s topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Beautiful rings!!! I have made my poor FI put his own from time to time just so I can see it on his hand... lol! -
Hi ladies, I just wanted to update this thread. I am sure there are a couple of other brides that ordered from Bittersweet prior to some of the negative feedback that they have received lately. I have been VERY nervous after reading some of the reviews b/c I had booked them months ago. However, I received a pic of my bouquet today and the flowers will be shipped out tomorrow and I will get them in time. I hope this relieves some anxiety for some of the other brides that have ordered from them. Here is a pic of my flowers: http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/s.../DSC_04771.jpg

LF: Cake topper letter "L"

I think the website aikbrooman got hers on is a few dollars cheaper. -

The books vary in price based on how many pages you want and how much detail. She really tailors the book to you. If you add up the cost of buying all the supplies needed and the time it takes to make it, having someone else do it is well worth it! The photo/scrapbook that she did for my MOH was $39. She special ordered some fabric I wanted so it cost a few dollars more than usual. Hope this helps!

Erica- I know how you feel! I found etsy from another bride here on the forum. They have EVERYTHING on there! It is so easy to get addicted and spend hours browsing that site! Hope you find some great things!

One question - how on earth did you decide?? there are so many options! I just told her what our colors were and that I wanted a guestbook for the wedding. She has all different kinds of fabrics so if there is something in particular you are looking for, she can get it for you. After you place your order, she sends you a questionnaire with several questions about your favorite colors, your wedding plans, number of guests, etc and uses that to design your book. She can do any kind of book that you like. She responds really fast to any emails you send so if you have any questions be sure to email her. She was great to work with!
