  1. I know that Xel-Ha has a few private beaches - which would be perfect! Not sure about XCaret. Xel-Ha is so much fun!

    Welcome to the forum! Congratulations!
  3. That totally sucks! Thank goodness you are able to get it fixed! I dreamnt last night that I broke my ring & lost one of the diamonds! A total anxiety dream:) I suggest a replacement ring to wear for the time your e-ring is off your finger - a positive - you get to go shopping! So sorry about your ring!
  4. Congratulations & welcome to the forum! There is a wealth of information on this site!

Hop ethis helps This was perfect! I was wondering how to word it on my website, too! So, is there really a destination wedding bible (book or reference)? We're getting married on the same day!
  6. I included some information about booking for our guests directly on the boarding pass STDs. Some of our relatives are not computer savy & I wanted to make sure that they knew how they could book the rooms (hotel phone number, room code, etc). I have included more detail on the website, and indicated that on the STD. I don't think there's a right or wrong way to do it. Good luck!
  7. Best wishes! I hope you have a wonderful wedding & that it is everything you hoped it would be! I can't wait to see the pics!
  8. I agree that the date should be in a darker color - green. It is a little difficult to read. I think you did a great job.
  9. The blog is a great idea for family & friends to keep up to date with Logan's progress! It's hard on the parents when a child is having surgery, and then having to deal with calling all the other family members & friends, on top of it. Good thoughts & prayers from me!
  10. Yep - just because it was cardstock - "it uses more ink" is what I was told. Luckily I didn't have everything printed - only a minor set-back, but I didn't want anyone else to make that the same mistake I did.
  11. I just wanted to let everyone know that Staples charges $1.19/page for color copying on cardstock (even if you bring your own cardstock) - not the 49 cents that is advertised - at least in Southern California. It was really disappointing to find this out after the copying job was done! I'm hoping other BDW girls don't have to go through what I did. Wicked Bummer!
  12. Thank you so much Becks & Andrea! I figured it out for the most part! Now I just have to pick a logo and color combination that I like! Thanks for your help!
  13. Does anyone have a good place to get OOT canvas tote bags that don't cost an arm-and-a-leg, and don't look cheap?
  14. They are really nice! Did you do them yourself? If not, where did you get them done?
  15. I voted for the $1000-$2000. My dress was about $1,400 with altertions & "custom" design (I'm having it changed to a sweetheart neckline). I love my dress & can't wait to wear it! Here it is: Style #8536 Allure Bridals
  16. Congrats & welcome to the forum!
  17. Hi - I know this is super late in responding, but I wanted to let you know that you're planning thread is so helpful! The To-Do List is a life saver! I love the consistency among all of the details of your wedding! I hope you had a wonderful wedding!
  18. Thanks, but I already tried Amirillis though I haven't heard from her. Do you happen to know what size font your FI used for your logo?
  19. I've been trying to create a logo/monogram for myself in Power Point, but I've been having a bit of difficulty. I don't know exactly how big I should make it. I am struggling! I'm not doing anything fancy, but I want to create logo stickers & when I try to make them smaller and copy and paste multiple ones on a page, I can't even read the font on the computer. Arrgg! Any suggestions?

  23. Can anyone explain to me how to upload my profile picture? When I try to download a file from my computer (jpg file) it says that it is an invalid file. Then when I try to upload a photobucket img or html it says that it can't do it, or that I don't have enough points to complete the action. I have 150 points or so - so, what's the deal? Can anyone help me?
