We have an uneven wedding party too. He is having 4 groomsmen and I am having a MOH and 2 bridesmaids. I think especially for destination weddings this is very common.

Caroline, we have hired Josh to do our pictures as well! I can't wait to see yours! Don't worry about the uneven numbers, we have the same issue. I'm sure your wedding day will be perfect!

I am trying to lose between 10-15lbs. I already have my wedding dress and although it does up, it would look much better with a little bit of weight loss! If I feel like eating junk food, I just look at the dress and think about how much better it will look!

I was just in a wedding this past weekend where my girlfriend and her boyfriend did this to Michael jackson's "The Way you Make me Feel" and everyone loved it! They took dance lessons and didn't tell anyone. The groom is not really a dancer either, but that just made it more fun to watch. They did a great job!

We are paying about $1550 from Toronto to the Melia Caribe in Punta Cana for the end of April 2009. We booked 3 months ago and we are adding 4 additional people this month and the price is now $1750. So it definately depends when you book!

We just celebrated our 10 year anniversary and are getting married April 09!

I understand what you are going through. The exact same thing is happening to us. We thought everyone was going and now suddenly money is an issue (even though the price hasn't changed since we told them and they agreed four months ago! It really sucks for my FI becuase I feel like he doesn't have anyone there for his big day and my friends and family are all coming. Hope everyting works out for you.

I don't know how you girls find the motivation..everyday is "well ok, I'll start again tomorrow". Now I only have a month and a half until the first fitting for my dress!

We stayed at Hotel Mela on New Year's Eve last year and I was a get hotel. Super close to Times Square, pretty large rooms, really nice washrooms and the staff there was really great. Very modern hotel.

So sorry for your loss.
