I am currently using destinationweddings.com and I'll agree with the ladies who said they used them and had a bad experience. When I first started using them, our TA was just horrible. He sent my guests quotes for a whole other wedding....in January! We are getting married in May! I compained enough and now I have Joani (I think Amy Steele on this thread is using her as well) and she is awesome! She has been super responsive and has answered all of my questions and even called Lomas, Apple or anyone she needed to in order to get an answer for me. I guess it depends on the TA assigned to your wedding. If you can choose, I would highly reccommend Joani!!!

Welcome and Congratulations!!!! I really thought I was going to get married at the RIU Palace Riviera Maya. I even did a site visit in June. A good friend of mine just got married there in July as well. The resort is really nice. There are some nice places to get married (beach, gazebo, etc). My travel agent kept pushing for me to look at the Azul Sensatori. I looked at the website and figure it was way too expensive. I continued planning for the RIU, but kept going back to the Sensatori website. Finally, I decided I would do a spreadsheet and put both resorts side by side with all the extras I wanted (DJ, private dinner, flowers). Anyway, as it turns out it was less expensive for me to have it at the Sensatori. I couldn't believe it.....anyway, I am so happy that I will be having my dream wedding in a dream location. You should check it out. I'm not trying to get you to change your mind because the RIU is great as well. If you need any info on it, I am happy to share! Congrats again!
