That is crazy. On a positive note - when Carlos emailed me about a microphone at the ceremony - he quoted me $300. Then I asked him about the SWANK charges and he told me that he is familiar with them - not to worry about it...and by the way (as a wedding present) he reduced the microphone to $150 without me even asking about it. That is how you get customers He seems really nice! I'll let you know if I get charged anything else...good times! Let me know what the outcome of this is.... or else we will be there at teh same time we will join forces and bring that place down..LOL i need to make jokes right now in order not to cry.... this is just carzy

I leave next monday and just got an invoice from Perla which all of a sudden i have to pay before i go. and they are trying to charge me 1260.00 for the outside vendor fee.....LIke what the hell is that?

Plus i have three candles on my centerpieces.

I have read on here that the lighting on the terrace is good...is this correct?

I figured the outside vendor fee was enough and wouldn't have paid a separate fee for a meal. I did have favors for the photogs so their small table was set up just like our regular tables. That is what i was thinking...Thanks I will not mention anything either not even for the Dj....

I want to do it again! Kelly did you have to add the people from Del Sol to your dinner guests?

Both of these are attached. I also put together a "wedding day timeline" which I have attached as well. Instead of a bouquet toss, I decided to dedicate my bouquet to my grandma - yes at 77 years old she and my grampie travelled to MExico with us. I have also attached that for anyone else who is interested! Thank you so much Missy for the first time i had enough points to open the files.

Thank you so much that really helped... I was just thinking it was too late when i saw everyone doing it at 3:30... I'm also doing a TTD the next day so i will get more pics then. the wedding day is basically more for the days events. According to google the sunset for April 6 is 7 pm.Thanks again...

They just reserved some tables in the buffet with the show they had that night. Was this at the Capri? Because we are arriving on the Wednesday and then I was thinking of doing the welcome dinner on the Thursday as we expect one more couple that day. And if it would have the show, it would be great.

Either way, I think they work as a team and one is just more in charge of your specific account. KWIM? Daniela wasn't there when I went down. Missy you rock with that email. amazing. Sandra I am also going to do my own makeup. Let u sknow how mac does. I am either going to go with Mac or Bobbi brown and see what I like. i have done my makeup with them before and i really liked it.

The reception floor plan is really helpful to those who weren't able to visit the resort beforehand! hey Fanny, No i will have a friend of mine do it. I have my Jack and Jill on March 7th so i will have my makeup done that day by MAC (professional makeup store and artists) they do you makeup for free if you buy their products so i figured that would be the best way. My friend that will do my makeup is also coming with me that day, to get some pointers on achieving the look i want. I want a very natural look just dramatic eyes.

For those of you that have been there for your weddings or site visits, do you think a microphone is going to be necessary for all of our guests to hear? I've looked into bringing our own mic, but I have no idea how they work and if its possible to plug one into the docking station. Any ideas? Hey Kelly, Who did you use from Sol photography? I'm using them too i will be shooting with Diego one of the associates. I have seen some of his pics and he is pretty good, but you know how it is you can't help but be nervous.

I used to have Daniela as my coordinator but then she stopped answering my e-mails and Perla sent me an e-mail telling me that she no longer works there so I started dealing with Perla, but now reading all these posts I’m a bit confused….. Does she work there or not?
