We're new parents......of 2 very cute kitties!

They're also polydactal cats (meaning they have extra toes) so when they bat at something it looks like they're wearing mittens.....it's very adorable. Here are a couple of pictures (we had to bust out the OLD camera, since our camera still hasn't been replaced from our honeymoon (don't even get me started on that one). Here's Raven: And this is Polly: And it's NOT the same cat, they look almost identical though. Will post more pics when we get the good camera back & I might actually get a picture of their faces in good light! CONGRATS on your new additions!! I would like to say, As a Volunteer for my Local Animal shelter, say thank you.....You not only Rescued these little guys, but you adopted TWO! Which is so important and helpful as they grow. It will keep them better behaved, beacuse they will tire each other out....And also, Because you adopted Black Kitties!! For some reason, Black Cats & Even Black dogs are the hardest to get adopted and I don't really know why. Your going to get so much joy out of having the two of them!! Over the summer I Fostered 4 Kittens (They were 4 weeks old) and I gotta tell you, that was one of the best things I have ever done. They brought me so much joy, day after day. Good luck with your new additions!! :-) I'm very happy for you!! -

I'm not sure how many people you have coming, but I would be sure to let them know what the deal is and ask them to keep a lookout for you on your day. If you see her in the resort...Ignore her, but don't let it show that it bothers you that she's there...Act like she is just another stranger in the resort. If & Only IF she comes up to you and says something that makes you think she will try something on your day...Take her aside and tell her, that if she so much as comes near you on your day..You'll make sure to call the Mexican Police..and everyone knows..the last thing you want to do in Mexico is get into it with the police!! LOL But seriously..Let her know that your not gonna take her shit. This is your day and she is a pathetic loser who needs to grow up!! Don;'t worry..You'll be fine and please don't let someone like that make you worry like you are. She isn't worth it! :-)

If you look at the pic I posted, those are all the colors you get :-) I love them! -
Hey...Does anyone know how far the Walmart is from the resort, and how you get there? Can you hop in a cab or get a shuttle from the resort? I am thinking of seeing what the walmart out there has as far as my center pieces and if they don't have anything I like, I can always just use the one's dreams has. I am really dreading haing to drag a million bags down there. I'm already going to have alot with my OOT bags and it's contents. I know I am just being lazy, but what else is new!! LOL So if anyone knows how far it is, i would love some info!! :-) Thanks Girls!

Wow..That is alot of Drama and it seems as though your getting the crappy end of the stick. To be perfectly honest..it sounds like you and FI need to go by yourselves, without the other people and drama that comes with it!! I have a feeling it's too late for that....So I would send your MOH who is not doing her job a letter or a phone call and tell her that you will not be needing her to stand up there with you. ask your Best friend and the only one who was doing things for your wedding , if she would like to be your MOH and only have her up there with you guys. This is a special day for you both and everyone else's drama is really making it hard to get excited about!! I am sorry to hear about FI's mom...I can't imagine losing my mother...But I do know that God forbid, if I did...She would want me to go on living my life and having the wedding of my dreams. She wouldn't want the world to stop because she is gone. Life goes on and you can't grieve forever. It's not disrespectful, it's life. I really feel for you... I think in the next couple weeks before your wedding you should stop, breath and just remember why you are marrying your FI and focus on you and him and ONLY you & him. Good Luck with everything and I look forward to your return and will keep my fingers crossed for a Fabulous, Happy review from you! Don't let them ruin your day! :-)

Awww..I'm so sorry to hear about your mom's dog!! That breaks my heart to hear that...Although....It's really nice to know that her dog had a good home for 12 years and was loved until the very end. That's all our beloved Puppies really want and she was able to provide that...Which is Awesome! Definitely wait on the puppy thing. She is going to need to grieve and more importantly, she's going to learn how to live without him. It's going to be really hard. I start to tear up when I think about it, because although my dog is only 2, there will come a day where I will have to let him go and I can't even begin to imagine that. My Buddy is my heart!! When your mom is ready for another dog (and she will be!!) you'll know and then maybe you can go together. Good luck and again, I am relly sorry to hear about that! :-(

How many of you have/had a weddingmoon baby?

That's so Funny, My FMIL says that after we get married I am signing a contract that says I will give her a grandchild in 1 year! LOL She is really serious and really grandbaby hungry as well. I would like to enjoy our first year Married, plus we want to work on buying a house. However..After the wedding, we'll stop trying to "not" get pregnant and let whatever is meant to be, Be :-) -

Hey..I thought this was a good find....I found these large tote bags, from Oriental Trading..They were $11.99 a dozen. They are Hibiscus print in a variety of colors. I gotta say, They came in a couple days ago (Only 1 week after I ordered them) and they are perfect! They are light weight, but pretty spacious for your beach towel & a Book & Etc... They are a little thin, so I think My hopes of doing some kind of Iron on are out the window, but that's ok, I can always make a tag and tie it to the handle... Anyway, I just wanted to share. I also ordered Beach Balls and FLip Flop playing cards to go in them. & I also have Sunscreens. I'm hoping to order Monogrammed Towels, but that is becoming an expense with more & more people saying they are coming! It's not in the budget :-( Anyway..Here are the bags :-)

My wedding isn't until June 24, 2009, but I definitely want to be apart of this. I'll be sure to check back as it gets closer..Unless someone is set to have theirs in May and can pencil me in for June? That would be Fabulous!! :-) -

It looked like a big space..It was really nice..But it looked like your average Wedding Hall you can use in your Home town. However if that's what your looking for, in my opinion it looked really nice! :-) I think you'd definitely want to get the chair covers for SURE if you go that route.

hahaha...Actually my 12 y/o neice is pretty tall...She's getting older looking every time I see her (Which is often) i see what you mean...I will have to see her with it and then decide..! LOL -
It sounds like it's time to put your foot down. You need to go to your parents, sit them down and just say..Look...This man is going to be my HUSBAND...he;s here forever..If you don't start treating him and also me with the respect we give you, then we are going to walk away and live our lives without you. Hopefully after you have that talk with them, it won't come down to that. There has to be a way to make them understand what they are doing to you. Your going to be married and what about one day if you have kids? How can your kids grow up in that situation? I think that you should just lay it all out on the table...Maybe they don't realize what they are doing, ya know? I'm sorry for all of this Drama you are having...But it sounds like your FI is a really good man. Good luck with everything!!!!
