As far as product, I'd just say your normal styling products + some good heavy oil, a good deep conditioner, curling irons (I use two different sized barrels) and a leave in moisturizer as well as maybe some setting lotion and rods depending on what style you're going for. Something else I really, really like is a product called Porosity Control. You can get it in any Sally's Beauty Supply, and it's a conditioner that goes on really slick..seals the hair shaft nicely and can help prevent reversion. I'm just bringin' all my hair stuff in a plastic bag in my carry on. Thank you for the advice! Below are the styles I'm thinking about. My main concern is making sure my edges don't "revert". I'll look into that product you suggested. P.S. My FI is a Army recruiter in Cicero, IL.

    Hola

    Welcome to the forum!
  19. It's been almost a month since our site visit, but I've been extremely busy with school so that's why the delay. I'm going to keep it short and to the point. Dreams The resort was BEAUTIFUL!! You always think the pictures on the website are fake, but I can tell you the entire place was beautiful and so relaxing. The staff were friendly and had no problem with any special requests. For example, my fiance loves his drinks strong and they always obliged his requests for extra alcohol. Food The food was good, but not head-over-heels delicious. I'm a big foodie, so I may just be prejudice. We liked Himitsu the best. Seaside Grill was good but we ordered our steaks medium and they were always well done. We didn't have a chance to try Portofino. Room service was nice to have and will definitely be put into use. Wedding Coordinator Mariana is GREAT!! She met with us the day we arrived and the day before we left. She walked us around the entire property, answered all of our questions, and was very accomodating. She has always been responsive to my e-mails and is really a joy to work with. Here's a link to some of our pictures: Tiffany Craig's Photos - Spring Break/Wedding Site Visit | Facebook P.S. My facebook wall pic is me as Tina Turner on Halloween. I don't look that glam on a daily basis.

I don't think I could trust someone I don't know to do it especially if they don't have experience with AA hair. I use HairArt's flat iron which I carry with me wherever I travel. I would appreciate any tips on what else to bring.
  21. I really like both Nia and Tyra's styles. I have no clue on types of hair I should purchase or length. Any advice would be appreciated.
