    haha! I love them, they are so cute! Dave wont let me dress up my dog, not even for Halloween. However, I tie her ears up after she goes swimming or gets a bath so that her ears don't get infected and she looks like a sumo wrestler, we refer to her as Sumo Abbie, it's really quite adorable...but she hates it!

    I wasn't sure about the mason jars, but after seeing the pics, I think they look great and you should use that idea! Maybe you could do daisys, sunfllowers and mums...or something along those lines. You could also use grapevines mixed in with them to give them kind of a rustic feel.

    My dog is pretty picky too, but if I put some of the Iams flavor sauce on it from time to time she is pretty happy and will eat whatever.

    http://www.emblibrary.com/EL/elprojects/pdf/PR1111.pdf Here is a free pattern, I can't find the exact one I used but this is similar. When I made them for the FIs nephews, I didn't add the embroidered faces and they were still cute.

    I have made something like this before and they are super easy. Basically they are a towel with a little bit of extras. THey are adorable and quick to make. I will see if I can find the link to the ones I have made before.
