With regards to the BBQ, if it is minimum of 30 what are the options for a smaller party reception (ie our 12 guests?!) ideally would like somewhere private for speeches etc is there somewhere available & if anyone has a resort map or pics of the areas available please can you email them to me: [email protected] Thanks again guys! K x You can have dinner at The Spoon. It is semi private, so part of the restaurant is draped off from everything else. You can use that with up to 40 people so anything under 40 is fine. This also included in wedding packages, so it is not an additional cost. I don't have a map, but here is a link with a picture: http://www.cancunairfare.com/Azul%20...Restaurant.jpg

She pretty much told me our friendship is over, that she wasn't going to a BM anymore... ya no kidding? I just can't believe she was spineless enough to do this over a text message! Honestly.. it's a relief! We've grown apart but only because she's jealous that our other friend started dating my FI's best friend... I know she feels left out but she's done some pretty mean spirited things lately and said things that just weren't cool. We always invited her out and she always cancelled... I think we were the ones putting the work into the friendship. It is a bit of a weight lifted off my shoulders... now I can have the person who truly has been there for me and who I truly want to be my MOH. I just couldn't have my one friend as a MOH before because the other would have been upset and left out... I didn't do what I wanted to make someone else happy WTF? I forgot this was my wedding. My FI and I agree that I shouldn't respond to the messages. We're both happier that this weight has been lifted and I'm happier and better off without her friendship! C'est la vie! Sorry to vent like this... you ladies might be the only one's who might at least some what understand... or maybe I'm just crazy. Now do I ruin my work out tonight with a glass of wine Wow, Crista, I'm glad it is a relief to you,but I'm sure it came a bit as a big blow. I can not get over the amount of people who have had BM's cancel on them! I just had a best friend bail a week ago, after she had already paid $300 deposit! I don't know why she booked in the first place because I thikn she knew all along she wasn't going.

I'm getting pretty bored being home for march break, so I think I'll take a picture of my wedding shoes and try to post it. Would someone mind letting me know how to post pics?

If this is toooo many questions let me know. Can't wait for the detailed review!!! Congrats Lolo!!! Thanks for all of the compliments ladies!! We got the silver package. The private reception was at Zavaz Plaza.....BEWARE.....it gets very chilly at night and I should have booked the open air restaurant. Just our luck our wwedding night was one of the coldest,so maybe it wouldn't have been so bad on another night. Also I did not have to pay extra for their sand ceremony. It is included in the silver package. Back to work today Have a lovely day ladies!!! Did you have to bring your own vase for the sand ceremony or did the resort provide you with one. What did you do for centerpieces?

  13. Thanks for the tips of "googling" wedding vows...I will be checking out that tie the knot site tomorrow....bedtime now!

We are writing our own vows but I have no idea where to start lol....I guess I should get on this ...any suggestions?

Does anyone have more info on this? I did a quick google search, but didn't find a site for just real touch flowers, lots of sites that sold them. I was wondering if there was a site that people were ordering them from? Also, lomas increased their price for the fabric that they use to decorate the gazebo, the price doubled! I refused to pay 150 dollars for one piece of rented fabric! What are you girls doing for ceremony decor? I am buying 2 pieces of fabric, but I was quoted $75 for each piece...this was before christmas though. Some people are bringing their own fabric, however, be careful with this, because they charge you a set up fee which is around $100 dollars. They will not let you set anything up yourself, so if you bring fabric you need to give it to them and pay them to set it up.
  16. Happy Friday definitely, and even more happier for me because it's March Break!! wahoo!

I originally thought I wanted a more flowy/beachy-type dress...until I tried this one on. And, I got the sample which fit like a tee and was 50% off You are going to be so gorgeous!! You've thought of everything down to the smallest detail. I can't wait to see the pics of you and your vintage wedding! I wish I had it in me to plan details like that. I don't blame you not wanting to toss your garter! It sounds exquisite. We're not doing the garter toss since our guests are pretty much family and two friends, one of which is married. So that would be weird... Oooh gorgeous dress! I love seeing what everyone is wearing! You will look absolutely beautiful in that. It's so classy

He doesn't see it this way. I'm trying to calm the Virgo Groomzilla... How far out did everyone else do them? I sent my save the dates out 20 months in advance! I found it really beneficial actually because I had 20 people booked within 3 months, and 40 booked within a year. I sent my formal invites out 5 months in advance, although I don't think I'll have too many more booking anyway...I think everyone booked from the Save the Dates.

  21. Amy, where did you get your vases from that are you using for your centerpieces? I think you are using the same type I am looking for.
