My plan was to get a beachy dress, but once I tried them on, I just didn't feel the "wow" with the beach dresses so I now have a traditional dress. Italian silk, with a really big skirt.

Oh my gosh Allisa, I feel so bad for you and your dad. Is the recovery time going to be a while?? Maybe he will feel a lot better in a week?? I bet his bruising will be a lot less noticeable in a week too...I know i don't know how bad it is, but just trying to optimistic. I don't know what to say really about that other than it just really sucks! You will still have a fantastic time and try not to think about the bad too much!! Easier said than done though! Go have your drink!

I would probably not use the Jr, especially since he doesn't get along with his dad, the Senior. i think using Jr links him more to his dad. But I would do whatever your FI wants.

I had the same problem MrsVaughn. Make sure you click the image id code and paste that in. Also make sure your picture isn't too big. I'm excited to see pics of you in the dress if you can get them up!

Ash, your dress is so beautiful! Very beachy. You mentioned that you are going to mexico in a week....are u going for a site visit? Good idea about the beach Amy...I'll mention that to guests as well.

Like the other girls mentioned, the wedding package is very simple, and if you want extras (such as covered chairs with bows, DJ, private dinner, rented music equipment, flowers, decoration of the alter, etc...) those are all an additional cost. Although it can get costly, I believe what you are paying for is much better quality than what you might get at other resorts. I have also heard that the food is AMAZING, and the resort is gorgeous. The one thing that I am concerned about is the beach. I really wanted a resort that would have a gorgeous beach, and the beach at Azul seems like it has a lot of seaweed and lots of rocks in the water. So far, I have had great responses from the WC's. They respond quite quickly and have lots of information.

For those of you who are talking about having guests drop out, had your guests actually put their deposit down and then dropped out? Or had they just said they were going to come, and then change their mind.
