    So, I would agree with other posts: set a budget, determine what is important to you (in terms of a package), and start looking around. I agree with pp. Photos were important to me so we spent a bit more.

    I guess what I'm asking is where you were in the planning process at this point... Were the invites sent out? Fittings scheduled? Etc... I have the big items, flowers, photog, dinner and ceremony booked, but its the little things that can be forgotten. Just looking for advice from brides that are past the 60 day mark! Teehee!

    Thanks for posting this, I was just getting ready to do the same! So far I have Reception, Travel(accommodations) and I think "other events" will be my third along with the rsvp card and and envelope. Does the RSVP card have to aligned with the other inserts?

    Hi ladies! At this point, what should I have prepared? I know that there's paperwork to be sent off but I haven't heard from Chandlynn and I want to make sure that I have everything in order. Please let me know what I should be doing these last 90 days, I woke up this morning and got very nervous...

    I was hoping to give most of our items to our guests and leave the rest the items with my family members so maybe we can just pack them and carry them down with us. I don't think that there will be a ton of stuff, but I'd rather have my items with me, then to have to look for them when I get there :.)

    Before seeing the pictures I wasnt for it but the trend of black and white plus a bright color is very chic! I considered black and white damask with accents of bright ppink

    Good post! I thought it was just me and my crazy folks, lol! So far I have 20 people booked and going with us and a few that keep saying that they "want to go", but as far as I'm concerned, either they do or they don't. My booking deadline was December 1st, but 50% of my booked guests did so within the last month. I'm planning for thirty guests total and that includes my grandparents that live on the island.

    Weddings June 5th at 12pm, last time slot they had available that weekend so I guess it picked me! Im hoping for clear blue skies!

    Hi Kari! Since there are 3 weddings per day booking becomes essential for the more "structured" bride such as myself. I haven't made any hair appts but I have confirmed the poolside reception for my guests since I wasn't sure of the availability. Call me a bit controlling but I like to be assured that things will go as planned :.) But Im sure that everything works out in the end. We arn't going to decide on the bands and what not till we get there.

    Thanks for all the information, I didn't realize that there would be import duties as well. The plan was to ship the items to my grandmother and have her keep them until we arrived on the island IF this was the cheapest option.

    Has anyone shipped their decorations and other items to the resort before hand? Im planning to send most of my decor and welcome bag items down early May but would love some info first. What was the estimated weight and shipping costs? Would you do it again?

    Eddy has definitely been one of my best vendors so far, very quick, very responsive, and out to please. Our top is a combo of our monograms and a starfish. Our theme is Beach Glamour so I plan to spray paint it and then bling it out with rhinestones!
