It varies among banks and other companies. Some just charge a flat fee (BoA was $45 for international) while others charge you according to the amount being transfered.

Thanks for the responses ladies! I had the bank trace the wire and it was actually received the same day it was sent. So, the banker gave me a confirmation number so the vendor can locate the transaction. The problem was that when the money arrived at HSBC in Mexico, it went through an another entity before being distributed to the vendor. So, when the vendor received the wire, it wasn't under my name/BoA but the other entity's name. Who knew... Just an FYI!

Has anyone wired a money transfer to a bank Mexico? How long does it take? I made a transfer via Bank of America last week (vendor deposit) and it's taking forever.

Update on the bandeau search: J Crew is having a great sale online, so I ordered a bunch of swimsuits. It was a big challenge to find a swimsuit that didn't have a too much padding, but just enough lining and such for support. FI and I divide our housework. Since he is, by far, a better cook, he's in charge of everything kitchen related (cooking, cleaning, dishes) as well as taking out all the trash. I take care of the living room, bathroom and vacuuming. We each do our own laundry and take turns with washing the sheets, towels, etc. Sometimes we trade chores, like I'll do your laundry if I don't have to go grocery shopping (I dislike grocery shopping) It took us a while to adjust but things are going pretty smoothly now.

He should have fun on the wedding day too! You have to *trust* him and that he'll be responsible on one of the most important days of his life. Accidents can occur any where, any time... brides can get burnt by a curling iron or get an allergic reaction to a lotion at the spa, kwim?

FI calls me bumblebee I wanted to change it for job reasons. Yamille, we leave on the 19th for Playa del Carmen. When do you guys arrive at the resort? I remember reading that Paradisus has many color options for tablecloths. Is there a color they don't have? I plan on having 1 large white candle in a hurricane vase and a few smaller white votives on the table, all filled with sand. I attached my table signs but the colors will be changed to bold than pastel. What color should table cloths should be? White? Would that be too white? Maybe I should rethink the table number colors? Or am I putting too much thought into this... What do you think?
