I would look in the Crystal City/Pentagon City area in Arlington (Blue/Yellow metro lines). Tons of hotels within 1-2 block radius of the Metro. It takes about 10 minutes to get into the city. Not that anyone will be sloppy, but do the guys really have to wear long pants and closed shoes for the indoor restaurants? Would shorts and a nice shirt w/ sandals be okay? Gracias! Per PRC: *We remind our guests that a dress code applies for our Cancun restaurants. For our indoor restaurants, gentlemen are asked to wear pants, shirt and closed shoes; ladies are asked to dress for dinner, no jeans please. I finally found a mua! Ilka and I communicated over the phone and email. She is incredibly nice and seems like a reliable person to work with! Ultimately, she was out of our budget due to the travel fee (she lives a few hours away from Cancun). My mua will be Guillermo Flores from Ultrafemme. The bridal package was $300 which includes a trial, wedding day application, eyelash application, touch-up kit and travel fee if you're in the Cancun area. Makeup primer is a must! It creates a smooth canvas for the foundation and your makeup will last longer. Smashbox's Photofinish Light is great b/c it's oil free. I also have the lavender bottle (for yellow skin-tones). Sephora makes a travel-size version, but I'm sure they can give you a sample or just try it on at the store Sephora: Smashbox Photo Finish Light Foundation Primer: Primer I bought MUFE HD Foundation. The color match is incredible and it has no titanium dioxide. The only downside is that I don't think it's very moisturizing. Maybe I'm not used to a more matte finish.... I really want to try Laura Mercier's foundation though! Her oil-free tinted moisturizer is amazing!

VS - Ultrasmooth seamless hiphugger! Cammando undies are great, but I like the VS ones better b/c they're stretchy!

I love makeup! From my perspective, it should enhance one's best features and provide a touch up of what can be improved. You want to look like yourself! There are great products that will not only give you a natural finish, but you won't feel like you're wearing it at all. An alternative to foundation: tinted moisturizer - very practical because you wear moisturizer anyway! However, tinted moisturizers contain SPF which has titanium dioxide. This isn't ideal for photography because you may get a grey-ish tint from the camera flash. Anyway, why not give the makeup trial a chance? Bring pictures of what you like!
