I like your idea of a card with the travel agent contact info, resort name, etc. The card can be a simple DIY print on colored paper with a ribbon on it to dress it up. Do you have many people who aren't tech inclined? We def experience the same situation.

I got my first puppy last June and it was SO exciting From what I've read, AKC registration doesn't serve much purpose unless you plan on showing your dog or breeding it. AKC registration is not indicative of the health/quality of the dog, either. You pretty much can register any dog for AKC papers. I never knew that until I started looking for a dog! From my experience, it's important where/from whom you get your dog. We used the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America in our area to look for breeders who are active in the community and tend to breed ethically. Also, look at forums for recommendations! This forum is catered to Corgis, but has so many helpful info on raising a puppy and the member are so nice MyCorgi.com To deter chewing, put Bitter Apple Spray on everything! Recently, I've noticed that my heart begins to race when I think about anything wedding-related (except for laying out on the beach part)! It really hit me that it IS actually approaching soon when I hit the under-three-months mark. Yikes! So many decisions to still make: programs, hair, make-up, shoes, vows, wedding rings, OOT bags, colors... Thanks for the bouquet info - really helpful. I'm going to get the flowers from Paradisus instead of bringing them down. This means I have to sell the flowers I already ordered, oh well Our sunset time is 7:20. Our ceremony starts at 5:30 and our photographer said that works out perfectly. We are doing "first look" pics which starts at 4:00, I think. CDNgroom, where are you having your ceremony and reception? I bet it's awesome! Question about meal for the photog: Do I sign them up for the buffet/plated meal or can they order a la carte from the restaurant? My dress is not poofy and simple (no beading/lace to worry about), so I'm going to wrap it in tissue and put it in a rolling carry-on bag. It will have to be steamed anyway, so I figured it was okay to fold it up. However, I am worried about giving it to someone for steaming at the resort though. Talk about pre-separation anxiety! Did any of you brides feel like this? What was the process of getting it steamed like? Speaking of dress... *my first fitting is this Saturday* Oh, I am so elated! It is the perfect catalyst for completing wedding projects!

Most of our guests are arriving on Saturday (wedding on Monday), so we all are meeting in the open-air lobby bar to mingle and give out OOT bags. Easy and budget-friendly! That night, our immediate families are going to have dinner together and hangout for the first time If your resort has shows, you can make a reservation so everyone can sit together. I've also read that some brides were able to reserve a private space on their resort and hire servers to bring guests drinks.
