Congratulations and welcome to the forums Jessica & Ryan!!! The main reason PV is not as big a draw for weddings as the Mayan Riviera is because the sand is brown. Also makes for a darker ocean instead of the blue waters on this side. There is not thing wrong with PV... but something to consider. Best of luck with all your planning.

Congratulations and welcome to the forums! We have a slideshow up on our webiste from Dreams Cancun so you may want to check it out to see what the resort has to offer you. July wedding here in Mexico will be HOT! Chance of rain is slim and if it does rain... it will probably only be for a couple minutes. This is all based on living here... but we think you will love it! We also have a sunset calculator on our website. I think you would want to have a 4pm or 5pm wedding so you can take advantage of the great evening light. Best of luck with all your plans.
