I am totally addicted to that Trip Advisor forum too....hilarious. My FI and I both read it at work and come home and laugh about all the craziness....the people are hilarious. I am just so excited we will be there in less than a month so we can see it for ourselves....if it is open by then. I will be a total paparazzi and report back EVERYTHING we see! For now I will continue to be addicted to the Trip Advisor soap opera haha.

Sure I will ask around where it is when we go....let's just hope it is OPEN by the time we go....I am getting worried because they keep pushing back the opening. I would love to have our wedding there only we have two kids who have to come so I am forced into the kid zone. We are going there on a kid friendly site visit trip only we are staying in Secrets to avoid the kids on this trip....haha. From what I hear the beach is incredible. The beach at Maroma Beach looks much nicer than the one at Silversands. Silversands looks hip and cool only the beach is really narrow and doesn't have the pretty white sand....only really I am sure they are both fabulous!

I go to Secrets Maroma Beach in 3 1/2 weeks for vacation! I will definitely post pictures when I get back. They were both supposed to open on August 1 only the openings were delayed. Secrets Silversands is now open and Maroma Beach is opening any day. Woo hoo! My travel agen highly recommended Maroma Beach over Silversands for what that is worth.

Xcaret Ecological Park Wedding
sdbtrflygrl replied to Jackie's topic in Riviera Maya and Cancun Accommodations & Site
I got a really good contact for Xcaret. She responded to my inquiry within an hour. Aura Maristany [email protected] Also here is what she said about minimum guest requirements.... Attached you´ll find the information of our services, is important to mention that the Park requires minimums of consuption of 50 people in January, June, July, August, September and October; a minimum of 70 people is rquired in the rest of the year. She also sent me attachments for all the various site locations with pricing/banquet menus and pricing and everything you would need. I don't know how to post it here so PM me if you want me to forward it to you! -
Definitely buy the book. The first two weeks are really hard....I do use the online forum to look up recipes because the ones in the book get boring! You have to really prepare and it is sort of expensive up front to buy everything you need. Once you are stocked up and you commit to making the meals it is pretty easy to follow....except for my lack of social life for two weeks as the other girls mention. I have lost four pounds so far though and people at work keep saying I am "bouncier" and "skinny" only that might just be my lack of food making me crazy! Haha.

Hey Fanny I am going through the same dilemma as you. I finally got pictures from the WC yesterday with the different packages and how they look....we are going down for a site visit in early September so I will keep you posted on how the planning goes! Let me know if you want any of the pictures they sent me.... I would love to hear what you decide!

Day two was easier than day one....even though my FI keeps taunting me with chocolate sundaes (mean) haha. I am totally bored with the food and I need some salt/fat! I am committed though....

Thank you ladies! I am done with day one and I am already tired of the cran water only I am forcing myself to stick to it.... It is going to be hard. Thank you for the information and I am happy to know other people did it to. I love this forum....I just found it and it is so nice to get ready for the wedding with you guys!

I started eating organic for a similiar health reason and have been doing it for about two years. I love it! If you live in a town that has a CSA farm you can join and get fresh/organic produce delivered each week! We have tons of them in our area and they are all about $20/week which is a whole big box of produce. I love it! My FI still shops at Walmart though. Here is a website you can find a CSA farm in your area. Community Supported Agriculture - LocalHarvest Getting the produce box is much cheaper than WF.

Is anyone else doing the Fat Flush Plan diet? I just bought the book this weekend and started the diet plan today. My wedding is next year only I am going down to Mexico in September for site visits so I want to lose a little bit before then. Let me know if anyone else is doing this! I would love to hear if it is working (worked) for you and how you did with it.

Thank you! I loved the brides hair....so cute! -
The answer is YES after reading your post and researching it online! It is gorgeous. I love how modern it is and the roof decks of the presidential suites would be perfect for throwing a pre wedding bash! THANK YOU THANK YOU for making me look at this one. We go in September so I am going to see if we can do a site visit. We are already going to Azul Sensatori which also looks nice. Do you know how they differ in price? Thank you again!
