This article just came out today. It's great news for us girls! Also, in the US 36,000 people die a year from the regular flu strain. That's a lot of people that doesn't go documented by the news. However, bc the swine was new, they made it a bigger deal than it really is trying to document every little thing that could be something to worry about. Yeah, I would suggest trying a different ink. When you use the metallic paper, it can be a little trickier than normal paper. If I were you, call Paper Source (even if there is not one near you, just call one) and ask their advice. The people there are very knowledgable about these things and very helpful too. Versamagic and brilliance ink pads are ones that they carry other than Color Box that might be helpful.

We are using Dazzling Details and love them!!! I think the best thing to do is get a proposal from Kristin and if it is in your budget, and if it is then GO FOR IT. They are completely worth every penny. Michelle and Kristin know so much about PV, and it would be so hard for a US coordinator to attain their knowledge. If you have a question, they answer it, and you can feel confident that they know what they are talking about.

I completely agree with what you are saying. The villa wedding gives you so many options without having to deal with hotel restrictions. Such a plus when you start dealing with outside vendor fees. And of course, you don't want to be separated from your guests after they have come such a long way to see you. We are doing our wedding at Villa Mediterreaneo in PV and they let us rent it for just Friday (the day of our ceremony and reception). Look into that one, b/c it is a perfect setup for ceremony, cocktail and reception and will le tyou rent it for just one night (even on the weekend)

I know that it is okay to have an adults only ceremony and reception. But it is okay to have an adults only destination wedding? Meaning not allowing kids to come to the resort. We would like to have an adults only weekend, and not be around screaming kids and breast feeding. If we did allow kids we would have around 30 kids there and completely change the tone of the weekend. How do we communicate this to our guests?

I am now a villa bride too!!!! I am getting married at Villa Mediterraneo on October 30, 2009 with Dazzling Details as the wedding coordinator. I am so excited and am very pleased with Kristin at Dazzling Details. She is AMAZING!!!! What a stress reliever to have her. I was originally booked at Azul Sensatori in the Maya Riviera, but changed after experiences with them that were not so great. I couldn't be happier.

Hi Azul Sensatori Brides, I just wanted to let you know that we changed our wedding location to a villa wedding in Puerto Vallarta (it is called Villa Mediterraneo). I was too stressed out with the details of planning this wedding with the Karisma system and also the TripAdvisor reviews made me leary too. A date opened up with an amazing wedding coordinator in Puerto Vallarta at Dazzling Details and we decided to take it. It is a lot less stress for me knowing that Kristin at Dazzling Details is taking care of all of it and she only has my wedding that weekend. She emails me back within the same day, we have a dialogue throughout the day, and she also gives me recommendations on photographers, florists etc that she knows and likes to work with. I have been sleeping better since we made this decision. Sensatori is a beautiful place, I am sure everyone's wedding will turn out amazing. Best of luck!
