Hi Becky,
The RMB looks like it is going to be great. I'll be there the beginning of January and I'll have some photos posted before you get there to get you excited
Welcome to the forum!
ok here's one that I don't think is based on location, but based on household.
What do you call the remote control?
In my life I've heard: clicker, changer, zapper, and of course remote....
Can anyone add to these?

I only started saying "eh" a few years ago. None of my friends say it, I don't know why I do.
My grandmother calls a camera a cameron for some reason.
I love my friends from Boston who actually say things like "wicked awesome"

I have always heard/said it as one fluid word. Here they break it down into two distinct syllables with emphasis on the "ass"
The "food only available..." thread got me thinking about other things that are different based on location.
So I ask you this: what are some local sayings or pronunciations or language quirks from where you are from?
I'll start with two from Montreal:
-Instead of saying terrace people say "tare-ass" (tare pronounced like care")
-Any combo at a fast-food restaurant is called a trio, not combo. For some reason this bugs me!
If you're getting one from mypublisher.com or a site like that, I would check out Coupon codes and discounts for 15,000 online stores! RetailMeNot.com and see if you can find any discount codes. It's a great site, I actually saved over $100 this weekend on a rental car by finding a code on that site.
