  1. It happens to my girlfriend, but once we're in the air she gets over it. If its a problem, definitely talk to your doctor about it.
  2. Hi Judy, welcome, you've picked a beautiful spot to get married!

  6. Does vegan count? I got a book called "How it all vegan" its amazing. Also a friend of mine runs a blog: Oh Gourmet!
  7. ok here's one that I don't think is based on location, but based on household. What do you call the remote control? In my life I've heard: clicker, changer, zapper, and of course remote.... Can anyone add to these?

  10. haha, my dad used to always say that: "jeet yet? no jew? skeweet" the last one being the hardest to understand it means "lets go eat"
  11. I only started saying "eh" a few years ago. None of my friends say it, I don't know why I do. My grandmother calls a camera a cameron for some reason. I love my friends from Boston who actually say things like "wicked awesome"

  13. as long as they aren't drinking screech! Wow that stuff is crazy
  14. I have so many newfie clients for some reason. I absolutely love the weddings, such a party!
  15. The "food only available..." thread got me thinking about other things that are different based on location. So I ask you this: what are some local sayings or pronunciations or language quirks from where you are from? I'll start with two from Montreal: -Instead of saying terrace people say "tare-ass" (tare pronounced like care") -Any combo at a fast-food restaurant is called a trio, not combo. For some reason this bugs me!
  16. I'm the same, there is no standout this year for me on the American version. Everyone is too safe for my tastes. No one takes a risk.
  17. I just checked: From mypublisher.com -Buy 1 get one Free -$20 off your first book -40% off orders of $100 or more
  18. If you're getting one from mypublisher.com or a site like that, I would check out Coupon codes and discounts for 15,000 online stores! RetailMeNot.com and see if you can find any discount codes. It's a great site, I actually saved over $100 this weekend on a rental car by finding a code on that site.
