  1. I had some much fun at this wedding. It was extremely small and intimate in Old Montreal. http://s93382237.onlinehome.us/blog/.../preview02.jpg
  2. sounds like a fantastic idea for a wedding! I'm originally from Ottawa. Welcome!
  3. So I think I am going to do a giveaway for February. Travel and accommodations only and no service fee. http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/phot...89267_6991.jpg
  4. wow thank you so much for your help so far. I'm going to look into Antigua City. I'll most likely be contacting you with some follow-ups.
  5. Definitely let me know how it is there! I know the wedding coordinator for Urban Element, if you need her contact info let me know.
  6. that's great you got it figured out. I actually did the same thing once. I save all my final edited images in a different folder and I by mistake burnt the wrong folder. I would have been horrified if the bride thought I was giving her something sub-par as a final product. Denise, if you still want some photoshop help please contact me. I'll link you to some tutorials and give you some actions which should make things pop.
  7. more underwear and a lot more snacks. I'm the worst for 2am cravings.
  8. Sounds like you have some great choices to choose from. You may want to consider the Colonial Majestic as well. It isn't very far from EdenH and I have had a great time there in the past.
  9. If it was me, I would call or send out a soft deadline, then a final deadline and just explain that the resort needs numbers so it doesn't become overbooked. After that I think it would be out of your hands and people can hopefully still get a place if they book later.
  10. I've started a facebook group for this resort that will hopefully help out some couples as other groups on facebook are doing. Search up Riu Montego Bay on Facebook and you will find it. I'm really excited to go to the RMB, it looks like its going to be a great spot.
  11. I think Morgan is right about if photographers who are just starting in DW's and those that have been doing it for a while. Myself for example I just started doing them and instead of my regular $3500 I ask for $1000 plus expenses. However, after I get more a a DW client base this will go up.
  12. There are tons of great places. I have done a couple receptions at Club 18 (18 York St.) in the market. It has the stone wall feel, the food is amazing and so is the staff. Strathmere is fun as well (on a sunny day) but is a little bit of a drive out of the city. I would look into some of the Golf Clubs around. I have heard great things about urban element | home I'll be shooting a wedding there in a few weeks.
  13. I love #1, its so beautiful.
  14. If people are leaving from your area I would ask them to save from space for you in their bag and then just pack some stuff in there. I wouldn't wait to buy things down there, last time I went I had never been to that resort before and we ended up being so secluded so I couldn't do much shopping at all.
  15. wow you were amazingly organized! How did it go?
  16. doesn't it feel amazing to get airline deals?
  17. Weddings definitely do have a lot of ups and downs but don't worry it will all turn out fantastic.
  18. That's great they turned out good! Engagement shoots are so much fun.
