I can't really help you, but I tried to use on of those translation sites and it was really wrong. I know some spanish and when I translated my words it didn't make sense at all. I would find someone who speaks the language and have them look over it. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

My job and my FI's are okay, but I just feel so bad asking everyone to spend the $$ to come to our wedding. I have a lot of friends building houses and having babies, so they can't come for sure. I am getting nervous the others are going to say they can't come b/c of the economy. I can't get upset about it--I am just going to be happy with my fam, my FI's fam, and us being there...anyone else who shows up will be a bonus! That's how I have to look at it b/c of the crappy economy.

I feel so bad for you-this is not your fault. They had plenty enough time to save their $$ for your wedding. Just remember this day is about you and your FI and y'all are going to be so happy and have so much fun there (even if they don't come). I think that is so sweet of y'all to offer to pay for part of the costs, but that's all y'all can do. I feel like y'all have given a lot and they need to give a little too. It's your special day!

Yes, I think its totally common. We are having a full reception just like if I would be getting married in my hometown. We rented a venue and we will have cake, food, beer and wine, dj, dancefloor, and a photographer. I hope this helps! I have elderly ppl who would love to come to Mexico, but can't so I really want to involve them.

I thought I was the only one!!! I sleep with my "blankie" everynight. My granny crocheted it and I was brought home from the hospital in it. Even though it is full of holes, I can't part from it. My FI asks me every night if I want to set it aside for our future children, but I say I will buy them a new one. I am being selfish, haha....I like that pic of your crimped hair...so cute

My advice is do what YOU and FI want to do. I am having an AHR when I get back because I want to be able to celebrate with my guests who cannot come to my wedding in Mexico. Just tell you mom that a low key AHR will make you happy.
