Mine just stays out of it! He just told me to do whatever I want. He is going to pick out his outfit and best man's outfit for the wedding. He also approved his groom cake for the AHR. He hasn't really said that much about anything else! I say go for the flowers and bridesmaid dresses (I love the color Fuschia)...Hope that helps girl

I don't know what to tell you...my resort is an AI...If I was in your shoes I would just let them know that you normally would allow the "guest" if you had a traditional at home wedding, but since you are doing a destination wedding, the circumstances don't allow it and just be honest why. I would go ahead and allow the one friend bring her sister-in fact the same thing happened to me...my good friend said she invited her mom and brother to come...It shocked me, but she didn't mean any harm and I really like both of them (I am now hoping to hook up her brother with my sister-haha-I am a matchmaker). Remember this is your wedding and everyone should realize that you of course want to spend it with special people you know! Hope this helps...=)

Thanks y'all! Ericdagenerik-We were going to have a couples shower, but since we had the eparty we decided against it. My friends are throwing me one. It is going to be really girly-Pearls, Chandeliers, Crystals, etc...my colors are hot pink and hot orange for my wedding in Mexico, and I didn't want to get sick the wedding colors, so for the shower we are doing pinks and chocolate browns.
