I never thought I would get my dress at David's Bridal, but I did. I love it. I spent $375 on it and it is perfect for my DW wedding. I went to bridal boutiques before going to David's, but I couldn't find anything light and flowy for the beach. Most of the dresses I saw were heavy satin and lace.

We picked it b/c My FI loves to stay at RIU's. (they always went on family vacays there) The food and accomodations are always great They had availability for my date The service is top notch It is an All Inclusive Resort I love the gazebo-it looks beautiful in pictures w/the beach in the background

I just talked to my photographer. She has done photography for years, but never a BD shoot. She wants me to be her model to show other bride-to-be's who potentially want to do a BD shoot with her. I am so excited! She is paying for the posh hotel and all the pics. All I have to do is buy the hard back book (around $100).

OMG! That sounds so wrong. She sounds really unprofessional (venting to your guests). I have never heard of $25 management fee-it sounds made up IMO. Also, why would she be working on it since October-my TA looks up info and quotes when the guests call her and she doesn't charge for this. Maybe a TA on here can answer your question better, but I think it sounds like nonsense.

KimmyG-We got a good deal through our travel agent. We didn't do the group discount because everyone is arriving and leaving on different days!

Yeah, I don't know if the photographer does TTD either!! I want to find out too because I am interested. If anyone hears anything let me know. I will be checking on it too.

Amanda is right---I heard about a bride who got ripped off on ebay when she thought she had paid thousands for a Monique Lhuillier dress. I think she wrote to ML and they sent her a ML dream dress when they heard her sad story. It is worth a try.

Yes! The pill thing mentioned above works. You can manipulate your period and the docs say it is okay as long as you don't do it alot.

I haven't gotten a price yet from my photographer. I called her today and I will post it on here when she calls me back. I am thinking it will be less than $700 including the book. $700 seems like a lot for the BD pics, especially if you aren't getting the book included in that price.

I am so sorry! I feel so bad for you! I agree with Andrea about calling or going to all the pawn shops-he may pawn it for drug money, etc. Maybe you could bring all the pawn shops a picture of what it looks like with your name and number on it. I also agree with Tara about waiting until you find something you love. If it was me I would just get a small band and wait until I find the ring of my dreams again. I am so sorry! Atlanta can be so dangerous!

I am so sorry this is happening to you! You don't deserve it. It sounds like she doesn't want to be a part of it. I know this may sound harsh, but I would just ignore her. It sounds like she just wants attention and you should be the one getting all the attention right now. If she is acting this way now, just think how she will act when she becomes part of the BP. I would just email her and tell her that when she wants to talk to contact you and that you are not mad at her (even though you might be). That way it leaves the ball in her court and she can't say that you never tried to reach out to her, blah, blah, blah....Good luck girl and if she doesn't become part of the BP-oh well sounds like the rest of the BP is on the ball!
