    Don't worry. Your dad is right. The price for our package has dropped $400-maybe it is a mixture of the economy/mexico travel worries. Hopefully, things will get better for you girl!

    Carrie-Have you received anything from the WC's at the resort yet? I see that your wedding is in June and I am just anxious to see what they email you beforehand. I guess I am just nervous because I haven't heard anything yet. Let me know =)

    Carrie- I know brides on BDW have done this, but it has been a while since they posted about it so I don't know if anything has changed Is your photog from the Riviera Maya area? Maybe ask them when is the last time they did a session at RPRM and get a feel for it...

    I am with kristendotcom. Texas is a wonderful place to live. Not only is it beautiful, but the cost of living is low and jobs are plentiful. You can get so much for your money here. Dallas and Austin would be my top picks. There should be lots of wineries outside of Austin in what everyone calls the "Texas Hill Country". If not, there are so many bars in Austin that he shouldn't have a problem finding an alcohol sales rep job.

    Haha, you sound like me Kristy. I am a huge klutz. I am wearing stilettos, but I will probably fall or get my heel stuck in the mud. It is fine if you are being picky-you are the bride. I will look for hot pink ones now!

    Yeah, I am with you on the first pair. Also, that stinks about the second pair not looking good in person! I have seen other bridal wedges, but they look so ugly I will keep looking

    Yes, lolkitten-the alcohol really adds up! Most of our expenses are on the food though. We are having around 250 people-yikes!

    I sometimes get a few in the summer, but they don't bother me. I would ask your dermatologist if there is a cream or something you can rub on. I am sure there is something. Good luck!

    I am not giving my guests welcome bags and they probably don't even know they exist, so they won't miss them! I am going to give them favors set up at their place settings. I don't really have time to do OOT bags, but I think they are a cute idea!

    FI and I stayed at Grand Palladium Palace in Punta Cana last year for a mini vacation. It was so beautiful and affordable. I am pretty sure they do weddings!

    Gosh, I wish we could budget. Our AHR is ending up costing wayyy more than expected-probably around $20,000- $25,000 after everything is said and done with. We are spending $9,000 just on food-ughhh!!
