My main concern would be them all coming back drunk off their asses. Do you know how many fishing trips the resorts and surrounding areas oversee and conduct on a day to day basis? The chances of anything happening are slim, and even if they weren't..you have to realize that you would worry about his safety no matter what day it was. Is it some how better for him to get hurt AFTER the wedding? Thats rhetorical and I know the answer already, but you see what I'm saying? No time is a good time to worry; so just don't.
We as women don't bargain on what we want for our wedding day. We want the full treatment, surrounded by our girls. The entire thing often comes off more about the bride than the groom, and thats not fair. It's not OUR doing (at least not on purpose) but I think we all do sometimes forget that they are guys and grown men shouldn't have to put up with being micro-managed.
I'm giving Billy two warnings. "No matter what you do, DO NOT show up to that gazebo drunk off your ass, or you're done." and "No matter what you do, do not show up late." Thats it. the rest of the time I don't want to know what he's doing or care. I gotta trust that he knows how important this day is, how much planning is going into it and that he won't do anything to jeopardize this memory for us. That's it. Well said! And I agree with warning number 3.. No sunburns, haha
