  1. Yeah, I would go with sewing cups in. I am going bra-less and I am a 34DD.
  2. Hey Shellk- That is so exciting that you found 2 dresses you like. Yes, please post pics so we can all see Yes, I wish that the RIU would supply me with some pics or a little info. I just want to know!
  3. Thanks for all the info. everyone. I really wanna check out The Blue Parrot. I think we may go to Coco Bongo, Senor Frogs, Carlos n Charlies, and maybe Margaritaville in Cozumel.
  4. I am getting BD pics done and not doing the TTD. FI will love the BD pics...I hope. I really don't have any use for TTD pics. It just isn't really us either I do think that the other brides pics have turned out beautifully though.
  5. Okay-your ideas are amazing! Love that very sexy bride tank!
  6. Monique made her tank in her siggy!! I PM'ed her my email address and she emailed me the directions! I hope mine looks half as good as hers She did an amazing job!
  7. Thanks for sharing! I just bought the 8 oz. bottle to try it out
  8. My sister showed me this a while back and it is too funny! haha

The chances of anything happening are slim, and even if they weren't..you have to realize that you would worry about his safety no matter what day it was. Is it some how better for him to get hurt AFTER the wedding? Thats rhetorical and I know the answer already, but you see what I'm saying? No time is a good time to worry; so just don't. We as women don't bargain on what we want for our wedding day. We want the full treatment, surrounded by our girls. The entire thing often comes off more about the bride than the groom, and thats not fair. It's not OUR doing (at least not on purpose) but I think we all do sometimes forget that they are guys and grown men shouldn't have to put up with being micro-managed. I'm giving Billy two warnings. "No matter what you do, DO NOT show up to that gazebo drunk off your ass, or you're done." and "No matter what you do, do not show up late." Thats it. the rest of the time I don't want to know what he's doing or care. I gotta trust that he knows how important this day is, how much planning is going into it and that he won't do anything to jeopardize this memory for us. That's it. Well said! And I agree with warning number 3.. No sunburns, haha
  10. Yeah, I am with you Melissa. Tyler is not going fishing, but doing something else fun
  11. That is great news Chloe! We asked our TA if there were any perks for booking our wedding, but she said no. We will be having around 30 people there. We just went ahead and booked everything ourselves. Tyler's parents are paying for our trip and we are staying in the two story suite. We are so excited. I have heard of this happening before, that is why I asked our TA, so I wouldn't worry about that. Make sure to ask what type of room you will have (if it matters to y'all).
  12. That is what I am thinking Josie! I will let y'all know when the wedding department emails me and I can just email it to whoever is interested. Glad to hear that you did all of that to prevent the guests staying at the Mexico. All of my guests are staying at the RPRM, but a few of them were questioning which hotel to choose, but luckily they called or emailed me to ask before booking. It is really confusing the whole riu palace mexico and riu palace riviera maya thing...
  13. I am just now reading this and I can't believe you have gone through all of that! You poor thing. It can only get better. I am thinking about you
  14. Hey Chloe-Yeah, it is lame...I think they are just too busy to deal with it. I am the type of person that needs to know everything way ahead. I am a planner, haha. I don't know if they send pictures. I think that they send you the cake flavors and stuff and you pick the flavor and icing. I have seen pics of the wedding cakes there and I have heard don't expect much. I heard it is really small and not real good. I don't care we will probably be drinking rather than eating cake As for the flowers, I think that we choose that when we get to the resort. I have no idea. When I get the email from them I will let y'all know what it said. I am excited to hear about msbettybernier's trip as well. I don't care about the photography, but I want to hear what she thought about it. We never did a site visit so it will be our first time there. I feel like I have already been there though because I have seen so many pics on here and tripadvisor.com.
  15. I contacted the RIU the other day to see if they would give me all the information about my wedding (cake choices, reception location, etc), but sadly they said they would contact me 1-2 months before the wedding I am ready now! I hate waiting, haha
  16. That same thing happened to me. A lot of people were confused-and some still are!!! We had an engagement party and handed out a flyer thing with our wedding website information on there. It helped a ton of people. Also, we just spread it word of mouth. I would send out an email to anyone that you can and just let them know about your website and mention RIU Palace Riviera Maya anywhere you can.
  17. I'm not using Bare Minerals, but I am doing my own makeup. My sister uses Bare Minerals and she loves it. I have used it a couple times and I liked the result. I use MAC makeup and I am just going to do it myself because I NEVER trust anyone to do my makeup. When I have had my makeup done they never seem to do it right and sometimes I think they want to sabotage me, haha. I really think you will like Bare Minerals, I would just make sure to do trials on yourself at home and then take pics to make sure you like the look. Good Luck. I am sure you will look beautiful
  18. You're welcome! I am planning on giving them the gifts before the guests arrive at the shower
  19. I think it will be fine as long as you are not busting out of the top. I am a DD and pretty much have cleavage in anything. I do not think a little cleavage will look tacky.
  20. Have you tried to contact Maggie Sottero directly and ask?? Just a thought. Please post the pics so we can see the jewelry. I am sure someone will know where to find it
