Just an update. I am going back tomorrow to see if she was able to fix the dress. In the mean time, I happened to find a "backup" dress today. How funny is this, I found it at the Christian Armory store! Since when did a Christian book store sell wedding dresses? Anyway it is only $100.00 and the length is perfect. (it does have to be taken out just a little or I have to drop 5 lbs in the next 30 days). I am hoping not to have to go this route, but at least I have a plan B. I will post again tomorrow after 1:00 pm. Keep your fingers crossed.

Rob graduates on September 12, so we were going to celebrate by going on a cruise 9/20. Then he proposed on Christmas day and we decided to combine the wedding and cruise together so our date is 9/19/08.

Funny thing, my guests are flying down Wednesday and staying until Sunday. The wedding is Friday and we are leaving for a cruise on Saturday. However, 14 of the guests are cruising with us! I made reservations for the group staying until Sunday, but I left other reservations up to the other guests. I just gave them suggestions on where to stay. I guess it is a little easier having a wedding in Florida than having a wedding in Mexico.

I had the dress altered and she cut to much on the chiffon overlay on the skirt. It does not lay properly and I don't know how she is going to fix it. It took 4 months for the dress to get here and I don't have time to order another. The wedding is in 1 month and 2 weeks! I was so upset, but I'm thinking positive right now.

My sister helped me make bouquets for the bridesmaids. UPDATE **I hated the original bouquets we made so I remade them about 6 times and this IS the final result. Luggage tags. My daughter is a hair stylist (I get to bring her with me) and she tried out a design. Ok that's it for now. I am just praying that my dress is fixed in time. My seamstress ruined the chiffon. I go back for another fitting on Saturday.

My placecard holders. Although we are only having 32 people, I felt the need to keep certain people from sitting together. My Oot bags. I just bought gift bags from the Dollar store and cut a hole in the middle, then printed my wording on paper, attached vellum over that and glued into the bag. I used a small palm tree stamp on strips of matching paper and placed a strip behind it and glued. I replaced the handles with ribbon in my colors. I used a stamp for the beach chair design. I am also putting in Biscotti, water, hibiscus change purse, plastic margarita and martini glasses, tequila, vodka and rum, thank-you card. I made labels for the hershey nuggets I will put out at the reception.

I am having 32 people and 5 rounds. No head table. My MOH and BM with sit with us and my two bridesmaids (daughters) will sit at other tables for mingling. I am trying to keep it simple since it such a small party.

The funny thing about our wedding is that we invited my FI's best friend and he can't make it so he decided to give his invitation to someone else! What nerve. I have had many people make comments about not being invited and we decided to have an AHR in October.
