  1. Rachel, I am so sorry to hear about your breakup. I know you wanted things to work out differently, but like you said, better to find out now than in ten years. You are a strong woman and this to shall pass. Be happy!
  2. I have two BMs and no GMs. Well, the BMs are actually walking me down the aisle
  3. Can I ask how everyone is getting all of their things to your destination? I am flying Southwest and I know I can take two suitecases but I need one just for my shoes!
  4. I pick up my dress tomorrow. The first one was ruined by the seamstress so I found another (which was little tight) but the new seamstress is a miracle worker. The dress fits perfect! I just have to get placecards made and FI's pants hemmed. Yesterday I decided that I hated my flowers and went out and bought new ones and made all new bouquets and bouts. I need to stop looking at the stuff and call it done! I did change the reception room to one with a small dance floor. I am having it at a restaurant and originally planned for only 25 people but now I have 32 confirmed. I figured I needed a larger room. I have officially lost the 20 lbs I was targeting! The waiting is killing me, I want to leave tomorrow! Good luck to all of you, I know your weddings will be beautiful and thanks to everyone that gave me good ideas.
  5. I was thinking of doing something similar except with shells maybe.....I have my own flutes. I don't want to spend the money on others. I will post when I finish. I need to stop finding things to make and call it done. 30 days left!!!!!!! I am going to get them finished this week.
  6. I am so sorry to hear that. Stay strong for FH.
  7. *I am marrying my ex-husband. *My daughters will be waking me down the aisle and giving me away (back to their father) I don't know if this is good thing or bad thing LOL *We will be staying together the night before. *Only having maid of honor and best man. *No flower girl/ring bearer. Actually, no children under 18. *I'm not wearing a veil. *I don't plan on doing Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue. *No sand ceremony or unity candle or any other type *No gifts *No father daughter/mother son dance. Parents are deceased *No TTD (if this is even a tradition) I must be getting old because I never even heard of this until I joined this forum. LOL
  8. Is there anyone not changing their last name? I don't want to change mine because we were married before and I don't want to change mine. This may be totally selfish, but I am content with what I have. He doesn't want to change his either, lol. His is to long to hyphenate.
  9. I am taking my iPod and Bose sound dock. I have made playlists for every event and all someone has to do is start the playlist according to the schedule I made up. I have one for prelude, processional, ceremony, recessional, first dance, last dance, cake cutting, bridal party entrance, bouquet toss, garter toss, cocktail hour, dinner, and two playlists for the dancing. I am hoping it goes well!
  10. They are very cute, but sorry I don't know the answer either but would love to know where you found them.
  11. I think they look good. Much better than I could do, in a heartbeat.
  12. I have the same questions and the same problem. My wedding coordinator doubles as my travel agent/officiant. I am being charged enough since they really have nothing to do until the day of the wedding. They did setup payment to the restaurant for the reception. Do I have to tip the wait staff if a gratuity is included in my bill? Do I also have to tip the lady making the cake? When does it end?
  13. I am so sorry to hear that. They are both so cute. It must be hard for you.
  14. I know the pics are large! LOL I keep forgetting to edit them before I post.
  15. I am so happy for you. It will make it so much more fun to share everything with her.
  16. These are my Camera scavenger hunt cards. I will put them on the tables with each camera.
  17. My father passed away 30 years ago and my mom passed 8 months ago so I am have my two "adult" daughters walk me down the aisle and give me away. They are 24 and 19.
