This is your wedding and as long as you give them enough notice, I would think people would have time to save. If this is what you want, you may have to be willing to live with the fact that some may not be able to attend. Don't listen to the complaints as I'm sure they will be there. Some people just like to complain.

Cheers! Just PM me if you need help.
I am attaching a word document, complete with pictures, detailing how to create an invoice. I hope this helps. If you don't have enough points to download, PM me and I will email the document.

Oh Martha. He is perfect! I remember when my girls were little like that. (a long time ago). They smelled so good and it makes you wonder how you could love someone so much. I'm glad he is eating and sleeping good for you. Please get some rest and don't try to over do it. Enjoy your son and tell Jay congrats.
Tara, all I can say is, you did an outstanding job on everything. You really went into detail on everything and it all looks wonderful. Your guests are going to feel really special at YOUR wedding.
I don't think it is tacky at all. I'm not sure that I would register or expect gifts under those circumstances, though. I think it is a great way to announce your engagement and explain your choice of privacy.
