I *think* that the chair covers are included (I may be wrong though) and that you have to pay extra for the chair bows. I think the only colours they have there are purple, gold and silver. That does not work for us so we will be bringing our own. As for the reception dinner being at the Steak House, apparantly it is the nicest and the best and the most sought after so once I found that out I emailed Erika and booked it right away since it can get reserved way in advance.

I agree, they are not that bad and it looks like she spent a lot of time on them. They are just shower invites and are not a reflection of you in any way. In fact, they will be thrown out the day after the shower and forgotten! Is it really worth hurting her feelings for a more upscale shower invite?

This is my dress: And when I ordered it I asked her if I should order it in the size down because I planned on losing at least 20 lbs. She said no, that she would rather I order it in the size I am now because altering that much wouldn't be a problem at all. Hopefully it's the same for you! Can we see a pic of your dress?

Welcome!! I will be geting married there right before on Sept 25 Our colours are light blue and hot pink...we are also bringing our own chair bows as there are very limited colours at Santa Fe. We are getting married on the beach at 4pm and having our reception dinner at the Steak House then heading over to the Disco from 8-11 to party it up!! Renting the disco costs $500 and that includes a bartender, the drinks and a DJ. I look forward to planning with you!

We will also be there for the rainy season (Sept), and so we have chosen to rent the disco. We get it from 8-11 for $500 and that includes drinks and DJ. We are excited to have a place for just us and our guests for a few hours after dinner to drink it up and dance! We don't care about decorations (we're extremely laid back about most things!) and all of our guests are excited that we've reserved a private place for just us As for speeches and such...I think we are going to do a quick thank you speech during dinner and if anyone wants to do a quick toast it will be during dinner as well. We are having an AHR so speeches will be saved for then!

No, I haven't called her at all yet actually...I thought I would need an appointment time first, but no? Kelly, did you pay for your BM's hair or did they?

Our ceremony is at 4pm and the hair dresser is off the resort about 15 min away. There is myself, the flower girl and 4 bridesmaids to be done...What time should we book our hair appointments so we'll have plenty of time to come back, do our makeup and get dressed (and grab a bite to eat!).
