I would think it would be worth the cost if you really want to do it. The purpose of the TTD is to be able to relax a bit after your BIG day and wear the dress that you probably spent a good portion of your budget on. Our photographer has it already built into the package, but even if it wasn't, I would still be doing them. Good luck!

Hi Jenna! Welcome to the forum! We chose Jamaica after visiting once before, and found the people to be so friendly and accomodating. Joe and I are pretty laid back people, and just enjoy smiling faces and some laughs...and the Jamaican people are just so warm and inviting. We chose the IRHS because we might have guests bringing some children, and we wanted a resort where our guests could choose to stay at the Grand for an adults only vacation, or the Suites for a little more affordability and allows kids. We previously stayed at Secrets in Jamaica and were always doing activities. By the end of our stay, we walked around and everyone knew us from all the games and activities...so we knew we wanted an all-inclusive that had those fun games we liked. Good luck on your planning!

I think it's a good idea to start now. I'm also getting married in November 2013 and I've already booked my photographer, venue, spoke with a travel agent for group booking, ordered my dress, and working on invitations. I feel like with a destination wedding, the more you do over time, the less stressful things will be this time next year.
