  1. Thanks! I cut them myself. But..I couldn't get the cuts right at first, so I actually printed little dots as a "frame" to cut along with the paper cutter. I used a Fiskars brand cutter I got at Michaels for 40% off. I basically bought the pocketfolds and envelopes, and printed/designed/assembled myself to save. It was still way cheaper than having someone else do everything, especially with all the embellishments.
  2. Sorry! I tried to send a post and lost it lol. The seller was Lovetocreatestamps. They also have a website www.Lovetocreatestamps.com . Thanks!!
  3. Hello Fellow Brides! This forum has been a lifesaver, and I'm super thankful to all the other brides who posted tutorials on their own invites or DIY projects. For our invitations, I took some inspiration from two other brides and their invites.: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/71356/my-diy-pocketfold-invitations-easy-to-do-with-pics http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/67837/my-diy-linen-invites Originally, I really loved the passport and boarding pass styles, but my future MIL wasn't thrilled with them. I also decided that I wanted a more 'traditional' invite with a destination/tropical theme that wasn't too over the top. This is my first time posting pictures, so please bear with me and I apologize if they are huge. We started our project with the envelopes, for which we purchased a custom return address stamp. We have even repurposed the stamp already for our Christmas cards. It was a great purchase, and the etsy seller was fast to respond. Early on, I understood that I am not the most crafty bride so I would be purchasing the pocketfolds instead of making them. I purchased the pocketfolds from: http://paperpresentation.com/ I decided to do a plain front, but tie the whole thing with raffia and starfish charm. Here's how the inserts came out: I purchased all paper from paperandmore.com (who had FANTASTIC customer service when our box was damaged in shipping by USPS) We also had a wedding magnet created for guests to put on their fridge which I will post later. Here is our RSVP tied with cute twine from The Twinery which we can repurpose for things like the wedding programs and OOT bags. And the finished project after many hours of love: Our guests have LOVED them and I'm so happy they had such a great response so far.
  4. Happy New Year, everyone! I'm so pumped for what we have in store for us this year.
  5. I feel like I searched and searched for a good videographer that was decently priced. I ended up booking Elite Media Concepts because out of all the videos we watched, I felt they were the only ones that provided the quality and workmanship I was looking for. I know they were over my videography budget, but without many alternatives, I figured it was worth the splurge. Other brides on this forum have worked with them in the past...and I'm sure they can verify their quality.
  6. These look great! We also went with kraft paper pocketfolds. I'll post my pics soon. Love your purple colors!
  7. We are using them for their DJ services as well, since we decided to do their package deal.
  8. We are using Cineart Photography out of Canada, since they will be in Jamaica while we are there (woohoo no travel fees!) and I'm in love with their style.
  9. I'd also like to see some examples of Rashel's work!
  10. I'm pretty much decided on Elite. I really don't seem to like any of the other videographers in Jamaica, and you only get this ONE day! I'm really hoping they are worth the extra $$. They have been super responsive so far, and I really think that going with them for DJ and cinematography will be amazing.
  11. Good luck! It does take awhile to hear back about your date confirmation. How long have you been waiting? We chose to have our wedding on Friday night, so our guests could enjoy the beach party on Saturday. I also like the option to go join the Beach part at the Beach resort on Thursday before our wedding
