Wow that is really crazy. Sorry you are dealing with this it is not cool. I purchased something from a member on here and had a really good experience but I admit I was quite trusting. I guess we all feel we are fellow brides and brides to be and are not looking to scam each other. I agree though this isn't a buy/sell forum so the host and mods do not need to do anything further. They have posted the buyer beware message and that is sufficient.

This is seriously a really good question! I haven't seen any photos where people were wearing them so it is probably not necessary. You only really need them to get drinks and food anyway on the resort so at the wedding guests are having your wedding food/drinks so I would imagine they just aren't needed.

Wow!! that's awesome so many people have decided to join you! I think we might face the same problem as now we have 130 save the dates ready to be sent out. I am positive that a lot of extended family won't come but I'm sure there will be some surprises. In the end i figured the more the merrier, HOWEVER the venue is maxed out at 80. So I have thought about it and if for some reason more than 80 people decide to make the trek I will switch to a beach ceremony which can accommodate more people and there is another terrace that can have up to 120 I believe. It wouldn't be what I had envisioned but hopefully doable. I guess my advice would be to try and have a backup plan. But as everyone said until the balance is paid in full people might drop out. Do you expect many more to book?

I think if you had it taken in for a ttd it would definitely work. If it were me I might take the strap parts off and just have it be a strapless dress.

We are going to pay for their hotel. (not their dates just them since it's an AI.) We are also paying for the bm's dresses and the gm's suits but we are only having 2 each. If we were having a lot I don't think we would.

My e-ring is platinum and is pretty scratched on the bottom where i hit it on things. however we are definitely not getting matching type bands so just get what you want and let him get what he wants!!!

I have never had even a regular flu shot and I did get the flu once in the last 20 years. It was really bad though so I understand why if it can be prevented, you may as well. But for me, I figure once in 20 years isn't too bad. I figure if I have managed to avoid the regular flu I should be able to avoid SF. I don't know maybe it's stupid but it's worked out for me so far. FI gets a flu shot every year but he hasn't said anything about the SF shot so not sure what he plans to do. I think you should do whatever makes you most comfortable. I personally have always thought if your body can fight infections and sickness on its own then it makes your immune system stronger but that is based on nothing, just what I tell myself!

Both my mom and FI's mom have asked me what they should wear but I honestly don't think it matters. I don't feel that guests should be coordinated in what they wear it looks too unnatural in my opinion. I think it will be fine to not have them match!! In real life you don't coordinate outfits anytime you're in a photo so if they don't match perfectly it will still look fine! HOWEVER, if it is something that will really bother you though then just mention that you were hoping to have cohesiveness in the photos and maybe send her some suggestions?

I believe for canada it is basically the same. You need your marriage certificate and your original ID and you start with your drivers license and health card, from there I think you can then apply for a new passport with your new name. You do not have to change your social insurance card as far as I know. When filing your tax return, you simply input your new name on the return and check off the "married" status. You need to enter the date your marital status changed, so whatever your legal marriage date was, and then you are good to go.

If they are $169 they are not real. Trust me. Anything from the new collections will not be on sale on Bluefly or anywhere...however once in awhile you can get lucky on ebay so keep checking! I am a Louboutin addict and I sometimes can find a pair that I want on sale about 6 months-a year after the style came out, unless it is from the classic collection.
