Ya it is probably just excitement! I find I have that problem when I am super excited, I get hungry but when I think of what I want to eat, it ends up being nothing. Make sure you are drinking water to stay hydrated!! And that is good you are trying to force yourself to eat something...you don't want to pass out!

We didn't actually meet online, we were introduced through mutual friends, however 3 days later my FI then left for 6 weeks for a work trip...so since I was interested in him (and it was clearly mutual) we kept in touch by chatting online getting to know each other and then went on a first date when he came back. I even remember chatting on msn when he was on the flight home from Saudi Arabia through Germany which apparently had internet access! So it's not as exciting as meeting online but I guess the theory is the same that you can really get to know someone via an online chat situation. We were able to address some important questions about likes and dislikes and whatnot before we had an official first date which made things a lot more comfortable!

Just wanted to say that I am so sorry you are all going through this. Truly I am. I can imagine that all of the work you have put in to planning your wedding, and then to find out plans have changed last minute is soooo stressful and frustrating. I know I would be freaking out. But you (especially those with weddings in the next 2 weeks) seem to be keeping it together and I am wishing you all the best and know that you wedding will be amazing no matter what! It may not have been what you planned out, but it will still be fantastic!!! I don't think your guests will mind, they are still going to be staying at a beautiful resort and participating in your big day. So don't worry about them!

Wow!! I hope that you can get it fixed, or sew it up yourself! Even with some stitching, if it is tiny it won't show in the photos, and probably unless someone is up in your veil noone will notice! But it is a shame Yes you cannot leave your Roomba unattended. Mine manages to lock himself in the bathroom everytime. I don't understand how it is even possible!

HAHA it DOES mean more gifts! And then like bridal party activities!!! I guess I am just not one for tradition...I think the bridal party thing is a tradition, especially if you have been in the bridal party for friends...it is kind of like them returning the favour.

I am doing just that! Not having a bridal party, for witnesses, my best friend of 20 years will be there and my FI's brother...so I guess they are kind of like the best man and MOH. They will probably stand nearish the wedding site with us to hold the rings and sign the papers. But we are not having them wear any special dress or outfit. I just like to keep things simple and minimize the amount of work that I have to do and I have read about some serious bridesmaid drama on the forum!

Wow that sounds incredible! It will be amazing. I think you can ask for interest at this point...get an estimate of who will come. But it seems like people change their minds right up until a few months before! So I don't know if you will be able to get any definites. But you should be able to book based on an estimate hopefully. Are you getting legally married at home before you go? I read France has a 30day resident policy or something crazy like that in order to make it legal.

My roommate in university had the surgery and I was the lucky one who got to take care of her! She took LOTS of Percocet, I think every 6 hours or something and she was way out of it...so for about 4 days we watched all of the sex and the city dvd's and then she was fine! She did say that it felt like a truck ran over her chest though. I think she went back to work a week later. She visited her surgeon several times though in the course of 3 weeks following and received specific instructions. Do you have any more follow up visits booked? I think it's important to have the dr. provide you with what you are/aren't supposed to be doing!!

Ya...my mom was telling me that. I think if that is the direction they are going I might lose interest. Hopefully it is just a misleading teaser!

Another question along these lines....so how far away did you book/reserve your wedding date? It sounds like you do that before booking rooms?

Ya it is weird but I had seriously forgotten how the show had left off. So I was scanning the PVR and found I still had the last few episodes saved from May! Pretty sure they are all online somewhere as well though!

YES!!!! I even rewatched last season's finale this week so that I remember exactly how it left off!
