  1. Ah bummer. I was thinking they'd look great with silver. I haven't seen them with silver yet
  2. Those are cute shoes! Still looking for some wedges for you, cause I know what you mean. Here's a pair that are pink and look cute. They do have gold in them so they might not work, but wanted to pass them on to you just in case! NEW Pink Fuchsia Gold Womens Shoe Wedge High Heel Dress Sandals
  3. You said you'd really love a pair of stilettos, but afraid of getting stuck. I tracked these down cause I had read about them in a magazine and decided to try them out. They may look a little weird on the shoes, but far away I didn't really notice them on a pair of shoes I tried them with. Definately noticed a difference in the way I walked on the grass too! (wet grass I might add. I put one on one shoe and left the other one without) The Solemates
  4. I've really been in to AI this year too. Some years, not so much, but this year I really think there's a lot of good talent. I've had a difficult time picking a favorite! Allison has really been sticking out to me though..however a lot of the guys have crazy good talent!!
  5. We just sent our out about 2 weeks ago for a June 1st wedding.
  6. Welcome and congrats! We'll just be leaving HI the day of your wedding!

I'm just so thankful FI was willing to help!! I couldn't have done it all without him! I enjoy DIY projects but this was the biggest I've tackled yet.
  8. Thank you girls! To do the ribbon corners, we found the best thing to use was double-sided permanent scotch tape! We also tried ribbon glue (which you can find at Hobby Lobby) but that didn't hold too well with the corners (for the front ribbon it was amazing!). We cut little pieces of ribbon...about 2 inches I think it was, put tape on the back of the paper, set over the approximate mid-point of the ribbon and folded the ribbon over. Tlseege, I agree, $10 is just crazy! I'm going to find yours now!! I like the idea of the slotted corner punch, great idea.
  9. Everything looks wonderful. Your colors really POP, I love it!! And your dress, AMAZING! It is absolutely stunning!!
  10. The pictures all look awesome!! Love your bouquets!
  11. Inserts and Postcard RSVPs: All of these were front and back to keep weight down and save paper. AHR Invitation which was inserted in with the invites:
  12. So after finding some very lovely invitations online that were completely out of our budget, FI and I decided to tackle the task of DIY (well, I did...he kind of got suckered in to it but was mostly understanding about doing artsy stuff which he hates! haha). They took forever, mostly because of plenty trial and error (and we had 100 to do!), but I love how they turned out. Would I do it again? Maybe...haha. I see why the ones cost so much though, now that they're finished (I was quoted at $10/invitation with inserts)!! Some wording I'm pretty sure came from inspiration of girls on here, so if something looks familiar, THANK YOU! Inspiration Invitations were from Olio Style: My DIY Invitations: Front: Inside: Continued...
  13. I don't think we'll have an e-pic in our frame as I didn't think of asking that the frame be set up the tall way...and none of our e-pics are the long width style...so Oops on my part haha. But we've got other pics we can use.

  15. Love the stuffed cats being walked down the aisle! That's cute!
  16. I just moved to Des Moines area the end of December! From.... North Dakota, haha...so I may sound crazy, but I'll take the weather here anyday! Good to see there's a couple others around the area though!!
  17. I'm planning on having our pup included on our cake topper. We've only had him almost 4 months but he was our baby from day 1! I'm thinking of ordering through Lynn on Etsy who a few girls on here have used. For our AHR he'll definately get to be there!
  18. Awfully sorry to hear he is treating you and your DH this way. I have no legal knowledge but just wanted you to know I'm thinking about you! Good luck, I really hope you get this all figured out! Someone's sure to come around with advice!!
  19. What a gorgeous dress! And your wedding's getting really close! You must be so excited. Can't wait to see your TTD photos!!

I plan to get them from Pearl Necklace - Pearls - Wedding Gifts - Bridal Jewelry - Pearl Necklace Sets and am now just hoping for some better coupon codes (haha, like the ones around V-day...shoulda just ordered them then!). My earrings will be the ones below and the BMs will have studs. All will be single strand pearl necklaces.

I actually mix it with a little bit of some of my Mary Kay eyeshadow to make some pretty glosses too! Quote: Originally Posted by FutureMrs.S I love bare essentials make up!!!!! I never liked wearing foundation becauase I felt cakey, but not with BE!! Another on the Vaseline. I have VERY dry skin and couldn't seem to find anything that keeps my hands from cracking and getting real painful. I've tried pretty much every "severely dry" lotion in pretty much every brand on the shelves. Lately I had been seeing the ads on TV about Vaseline having a OTC clinical therapy level lotion so picked it up this last weekend. WOW what a difference I am already seeing! And I don't even have to apply it as frequently as I had others.
  23. I'm in agreement to the scrapbook stores. Also, you may be able to find some nice ones at a Hobby Lobby or Michael's if you have either in your area.
  24. Wow, they look awesome! Where did you order from? I have been thinking of ordering some pics from Kodak on canvas
