  1. FYI: The moisturizer you mentioned and serum with SPF are chemical sunscreens with only .5% titanium dioxide. The other active ingredients are chemicals! That means you body absorbs them within 2-4 hours. So I hope you are not relying on these for your only sunscreen. And they're not natural with the chemical sunscreen added.
  2. I work for Origins so I'm a little biased but... We introduced a real USDA certified Organic Line in the fall and it's selling like crazy. The USDA seal means it's food quality organic and completely free of everything. Other than that, European co's use the Eco-CERT seal (meaning Natural, not Organic) however, this is not a government agency so who really knows what goes on.... Makeup, Bare Escentials is ok, however, NOT their skincare line. Not the same as Bare Minerals or other mineral makeup either. There are lots of websites out there that are all run by independent groups and if you read enough of them we wouldn't be able to use anything on ourselves! Aveda, Origins...yes we are both plant-based but not all-natural (neither is anyone else I'd like to point out) in the Prestige brand world. The difference between us and co like MAC, clinique, etc., is that the preservatives are not your typical cosmetic co preservatives. We both use food-preservatives. This means if you eat boxed foods like cereal or Mac and Cheese, frozen foods, like Lean Cuisine that are not all-natural, you already consume these. Origins uses wind energy in all of our corporate offices, stores, and manufacturing facilities, we use recycled packaging, papertowels, and non-chemical cleaning supplies. We also offer FREE FACIALS and makeup! I've Bridal party makeup every Saturday for the last 6 weeks on the day of their weddings and all for FREE!! There's nothing better than doing a brides makeup on her wedding day and helping to bring out her natural beauty! Hope this helps!
  3. If your family will not be attending (or any one else you want to participate) the Little Chapel of the Flowers by far has the best offer. They will post you wedding on their website simultaneously and for up to 1 year after along with your pictures if you want. You can send free invitations by email or print the website on the invitations. No password required. They have the best pictures. My package is going to run about $1300. This includes the ceremony and flowers (although I'm bringing my own), 14 candid ceremony photos, 1/2 hour photo shoot on the grounds with 12 photos, extra 1/2 hour on the grounds to take pics with family, 16" cake, limo to and from, 3 1/2 hour trip to the Valley of Fire to take photos and 1/2 hour picnic lunch, 2 CD's of the ceremony. If you haven't looked at it or decided, check them out They'll also let us incorporate a handfasting and write our own vows!
  4. I'm going to the Little Chapel of the Flowers. They are voted to have the best scenic grounds in LV. They will archive your wedding and show it live so all of the friends and family can watch. They'll also post your pictures if you want. My Regional Manager's brother got married there and said that he had far better pictures than she ever had! They can also do off-site photographer and videographer for VERY reasonable rates so you have the whole day experience. We're doing a Valley of Fire photo shoot and picnic reception at a great rate. The pictures and staff are fabulous!
  5. My name is Kim. I'm live in MA but will be getting married on January 21, 2009, at the Little Chapel of the Flowers in Las Vegas, NV. We chose this place because the chapel and grounds are gorgeous and photos beautiful. Everyone is invited to watch at Las Vegas Weddings Chapels - Chapel of the Flowers.
