  1. The color in the original picture looks like a light color chiffon over a dark yellowish ivory. I think the dress is very close to the original. The color swatch for the color you chose looks brown to me. The sash is more of a deeper champagne/orange. Overall I think it is gorgeous and if they're going to give you a free bolero take it!
  2. I found this website http://www.shinetrim.com/appliques/rhinestone-crystal?gclid=CJXH_rqXuKgCFRtKgwodSBrSBA I thought it might be helpful if you haven't received the details or beading you wanted in your dress you could order from here and add it yourself. I'm going to be ordering something from here to add to a cluch and hairpiece.
  3. I think it's very close. I should look ok. Have you specified with them if you want beads or sequins? That would be my next concern now.
  4. Go to this website http://www.bloom.com/invite/5828/KimF you get a FREE Clarisonic this weekend! It's the best thing I've done for my skin and can't believe they are giving away the classic (not mia!) for free. I do not work for them. I 'm just stunned they are giving this away! My pores are smaller, my blackheads are gone, no more breakouts, skin is smoother, and my husband uses it too!

  7. Hopefully, you will have a limo that the casinos will let stand in the limo area for a while when you "jump out" to take photos. I'm local to Vegas and have done the strip wedding photos with a limo and it wasn't easy. The limos are not allowed to wait around especially on weekends. So you need an experienced limo driver specifically for this. You definitely can't do it on your own. I've worked at a wedding chapel and have visited almost of them here in Vegas. If anyone needs information or advice let me know. I'll help if I can. I also had a disaster at the first chapel I was married in. So I'm renewing on July 4 this year. If you need a minister or photographer I'll let you know how they did for me.
  8. They got back to me today. The person confirmed the skirt would not look like the photo so I gave them another one that I had liked as a back up with a bunch of changes. As far as the bust, they asked for a bunch of measurements, including the fullest bust, underbust, shoulder to nipple, distance between nipple, etc. I also additionally gave them an illustration of the dress with the height of the cup size measured out. I'm not too concerned that the width will fit but more so that it will be so short in the cup that I spill out all over. They have a good policy that says if it isn't the measurements that I supplied them they will reimburse a seamstress to alter up to 50% of the dress. So I don't think if would cost that much more to fix if I had to I hope this is detailed enough..
  9. I've been trying to tell them that. When they see measurements of 26" waist and 39" bust I'm afraid they won't get it right. They did ask for underbust measurements though. I'm thinking I should just cancel it and choose another dress but they won't get back to me. I don't know what the time difference is so hopefully I will hear from them. Their emails when I paid said the seller would contact to confirm. Maybe I can get a hold of them when they do. Am I just worrying too much?
  10. I was just chatting with the babyonline seller and she said that they could not make the skirt that way and that it would just be plain lace. Since that ruins the whole design of the dress I told her I wanted to cancel and choose another dress from them. Before I could get a response she ended the chat and is no offline. The customer service online says that she has to cancel and refund and I can't. Has anyone else been through this?
  11. Ok, so I ordered the first one. I chose the lace and I figured if it comes out a little more simple than what I expect it's ok. I just hope it has that more contemporary look I'm going for. I'll cross my fingers.
  12. Not to worry about the mermaid style...I've got hte body to carry it off...but thanks for the advice...Has anyone seen either company do ruffles or details like that? I got a response back with photos of the lace and they said it would be similar. My concern is that the skirt is more of a ruffled lace done in tiers. I guess if I go with that one I should just expect it without the ruffles and be happy with what I get. Second question....I have a large cup size (DD) and was wondering if any curvy ladies had any issues with cups fitting well on strapless or more fitted dresses.??
  13. I've read most of the this thread and by you recommendations I have looked at dhgate's babyonline. I've narrowed it down to 2 dresses. This is for our vow renewal because, long story short, the first wedding wasn't perfect. It will be in June or July late afternoon/evening in Vegas. The first one I loved would be made from tafetta and I think it would be too heavy and hot. My question to you is...I love this dress but I don't know if they can do the bottom with that texture so I chose a back up I love the skirt on this one. Has anyone had any of these dresses made successfully? Which DH gate seller it best at lace/ruffles? I've written them to ask about the lace to see if they could send me a photo of how the bottom will look. Do you think they will?
  14. We were married in Jan and were at Red Rock and at about 3. But since it was Jan there was no heat. I did buy all white sneakers and I don't think I would have made it on the side of the mountain without them.
  15. OOH! I want the little handheld fans...How much to ship to 89147? And do they come with batteries?
  16. You should get a ton of free codes when you sign up so all you do is pay for shipping. I just got my 4 more coasters, playing cards with 54 pictures, and a photo book for $11. I've never had probs.
  17. Here are more codes you can use: ZXVL1MK Single design playing card $3.99 ZM96RUZ 54 designs playing card $4.99 ZEA3U9W Classic Handbag (Two sides) $18.88 Z5HLUR5 7x5 Photo Book (40 pages) $8.88 ZR8GAT5 Mini Fleece Blanket (Two Sides) $15.99 ZQVM4CM Pillow Case $7.99 Z8ZDEB9 Classic Tote Bag $7.99 Z2RNNXV Coin Purse $9.99 Remember, you don't have to use your photos of people. We used photos of the Las Vegas sign and strip (our destination) that I found online to make great scenic gifts for people and at better prices and quality than the tourist stuff here.
  18. I've been using this site ArtsCow.com | Digital Photo Prints, Photo Books & Custom Gifts for months for making wedding photos, photos books, keychains, gifts, etc., for the wedding and after the wedding. They have great products, good quality, and run promos all the time. Right now you can get an 8x10 canvas print stretched with free shipping for $11.99! You can't get that anywhere and it's the same thing your photographer will charge you $50-100 for. In fact, there are photographers who make their products through this co and talk about it on the forums. Also, they have 10 5x7's for 99 cents with free shipping! Have fun!
  19. Toner Photography : Click to Enter was my photographer and she did amazing photos in Jan at Red Rock after our wedding and last week on the strip. She offers a 2-hour strip photo package for $495 with limo and you get all the photos on CD with rights. Our first one she was much more flexible on the budget for us so just ask. As to the fountains, don't bet on it. Bellagio considers their property copyrighted and the minute security sees a professional photog out there you get kicked out. Trust me.... We took great strip photos in front of eiffel, NY Bridge, Caesars statues and columns and on the streets. It's easier for a photog and you during the day b/c you won't have to be as still and hold the poses so long as you would at night (due to the lighting). I'm local as well so if I can help with anything let me know...
  20. We had the best photographer! Very creative.... Toner Photography : Click to Enter
  21. Tuxedo Junction by far...!! We shopped around for a few days and most places for the tux we wanted (white jacket) wanted $150-250. TJ rented for $80 all inclusive except shoes. Don't rent shoes anyway, too uncomfortable.
