Hi Kristin, first of all congratulation on your wedding :-) I made my wedding with Carribean Blue Wedding (Playa del Carmen Caribbean Blue Weddings Home Page) We had a really small wedding, just us, our parents and our friends, together it was 8 people. We had a civil ceremony with a Mexican Judge, but they also organize: catholic, non denominational, spiritual, even cosmic or mayan ceremony :-) Our ceremony was set up at the beautiful semi-private beach where there were no people. We contact with them only through the mail, they gave us a cellphone numbers also, but from Poland mail was cheaper. I have to say that we had no problem, cooperation was perfect. Girls were really patient and they always respond very quickly for my mails and answer for my questions. They are really professional. We didn't have to worry about anything, all paper work did CBW, they made an appointment for the blood tests, they ordered a guitar trio, videographer etc. Photographer we found by ourselves but they had one if you want. Our work together based on pics, they sent us pictures of arch, set up of the beach, my bridal's bouquet so that we could chose whatever we liked and it turned out to be totaly the same like at the pics. We had a guitar trio instead of Mariachi. We didnt have a reception, just a dinner but we wanted to have it in the beachfront restaurant so they found it for us. We stayed in Maramao restaurant. Lovely, small restaurant near the 5th avenida. I know that they organize reception there. For dinner for 8 people and all drinks (also alcohol) we paid $400. Three days before the wedding we had a meeting with CBW where I was given a schedule of the wedding day: time of my hairdresser, time when the van will be for us at the hotel etc. All cost of my wedding was $3600.

It wasn't just walk, we played and Rafael took the pics all the way, so we didn't feel like we walked so long distance ;-)

Congratulation ones again. :-) I am sure all your guest will love them. I had small wedding, just 8 people but all our guests love Rafa, even though they can't speak english :-). He was so friendly that all of us started treated him like a member of our group.

Hi girls, I am the first bride from this forum, whose wedding was captured by this photographer so I want to share with you the information about him. I got married 30.10.2008 in Playa del Carmen and Rafael was our photographer. I found him here in this forum and even took a part in a special Rafael's contest (photo giveaway) but I didn't win :-) Even though we loved his work so much that we asked him to be our photographer. He was with us almost 3 days. The evening before wedding, all wedding day and the day after (Trash the dress session). It was really fun to work with him and I think that it is shown on our pictures. I asked Rafa about places where he can work and he told me that he would go whereever brides want :-) So if you want to have your wedding captured in unforgetable pictures you should ask Rafael to be your photographer. :-)

I got married 30.10.2008 in Playa del Carmen in a semi private beach, but I stayed in Riu Yucatan. First I also planned to get married in Riu Yucatan, but I changed my mind. My wedding was organized by Carribean Blue Wedding and I loved that. I saw one wedding organized in Riu Yucatan, not on the beach but in the garden. They have a beautiful garden there, with lots of animals. It is really great. One thing I didn't like is that wedding in the hotel is not private and there are a lot of tourists who watch all the ceremony.

Hi girls, congratulations for the winners :-) I also took a part in this great contest. I didn't win but I am not upset :-) Me and my husband loved Rafa's work so much that we decided to ask him to capture our wedding day, even if we didn't win and it turned out that Rafa had a suprised also for us (special discount) and after our wedding he had another one (second slideshow). As I am the first bride from this contest whose wedding was captured by Rafael I had to write about his great work. Really, he is the best photographer I've ever met. He created so cheerful and friendly atmosphere that we forgot about all stress and shame. I have to admit that asking Rafael was the best decision of our life together. I read your testimonials and now I am happy I chose the Caribbean Blue Wedding. They really seem to be the profesionals. First I was a little bit doubtful but only because of the fact that we are from Poland and I thought that there would be a language barrier but after two e-mails I have no doubt any more.
