I wish I could wear high heels!! FI is just a tad shorter than I am, so I have to wear flats. I FINALLY found some at Dillards though!! Just ordered today.

I think this is a great idea! Maybe instead of putting this on the invite, tell them? OR you can include something in the envelope (like a seperate piece of small paper) that offers a prize for the best eco-friendly wrapped gift?

This is such an amazing poem. It made me cry. I lost my father 6 years ago. I am planning on having a candle that my mother, my sister and I will light before the ceremony. This may be good to print on really nice paper and put in a frame on the table. I don't want to make a big deal (I know that sounds bad) because I will cry the entire time. Like I am crying now! ha! I am such a wuss!

Good question! I am not inviting my officiant to our reception. I don't know him and would feel weird having him there. He can come, do the ceremony, get paid and leave. I know, I am kinda mean. As for my WC...I don't know abotu that one. Of course I will offer her food, but I don't think I will have her sit at a table with my guests as I would think that would be odd. I don't know about offering food to everyone else though (videographer, photographer, DJ, etc.). Not sure what I would do there.

I'm kicking FI out! ha! He is going to stay with one of his brothers. He didn't like the idea at first, but the more we talked about it, the more agreeable he got about it. He asked me if we could meet in the morning on the beach. I think that is adorable and sweet, but that kinda defeats the purpose to me! I want the first time we put our eyes on each other be when I walk down to him. He then said, "we will play it and see what happens." Too funny.

I found Alaun by Design somehow. I did a search on here and don't think it was on this website, but I ended up going with them because their prices are very cheap. We ordered our Save the Dates and Invites with them and they turned out amazing!! I have received TONS of compliments on them. They are awesome to work with as well. I don't have pictures here at work, but if you would like me to send you some, please let me know. They also have tons of pictures on their website. Alaun By Design Just thought I would share!

Vari is also my wedding coordinator. I don't want to say anything bad about her, because I realllllllly like her. She is a little slow in responding, but I am thinking that is typical with most wedding coordinators as they are so busy. I have not heard from her in awhile. She did call me last week to tell me she was going to send me responses to my questions, but I have yet to hear anything back. I am kinda freaking out. I would recommend calling her (which is what I need to do too)!

Oh - forgot to mention that we will be getting married at the Palapa (both ceremony and reception will be there). Barefoot wouldn't really work there. I like the idea about going barefoot though if we were getting married in the sand.

You girls are amazing!! Thank you for all of your replies!! I am 5'9 and FI is about an inch maybe less shorter than I am. When we are both barefoot he is just a hair shorter which isn't too bad, but you add even an inch heel and it looks bad (IMO). I wasn't wearing any shoes when I tried on the dress. Thanks for all the dress compliments! LOVE the piperline website! I had found a pair that I really liked by Juicy Couture, but they are on back order! Not sure if they would have worked well either. When I walk, you can kinda see the tip of what I am wearing underneath which is why I didn't want to go with a slipper.

I have been searching around for information about the airport, but can't seem to find anything. I am trying to figure out how early guests should get to the airport (in Cabo) for their flight. Since the Sheraton is 30 minutes away, I was trying to factor everything in. Is it the typical three hours before for an Inernational flight?
