I am having 7 girls so I have went back and forth on this. We are buying their dresses (Jcrew) and then I will probably spend about $200 on each of them. Most likely a colorful clutch (Im a clutch/purse fanatic), lauren merkin or Lorelei, and if I can I'll throw in a necklace. So looks like around $300-$350?!

Dreams Huatulco are there anymore brides?
*Nadine* replied to ~Andie~'s topic in Other areas of Mexico Weddings
Thanks for sharing that Robin. I totally agree and understand why its taking Rocio to get back to us. I do just want my date confirmed but I know there is alot of time for that. Also thanks for posting your price for Fabian. I was getting hosed!!! We were going to be paying $1200 USD (and with our dollar right now that blows) and I already put down $600 USD as a deposit (which was $770cdn). I will be talking to him about paying much less now, I wont mention your name but just mention another bride told me. We are going to do a TTD shoot with him the next day so I could see us paying $1000 cdn for all that, but not $1200 USD. Thanks for that info, I really appreciate it! -

Hey Kim.. I have had the same problem. I was in touch with Robio and even sent her my credit card info for the deposit, but its still never been charged. And I havent gotten a response since. Im gonna confirm with my TA that it is infact booked b/c Rocio told me before it was fine. Secondly, Same with Fabian. We booked him for the full day and also a TTD the day after. And I sent him a 50% deposit. I didnt really think of it b/c I knew I would do that with any photographer, but I forgot he was also the hotel photographer. Hmm. maybe just ask him? After hearing robin and andies reviews I am so much more relaxed (my date is Dec 29) but yah, i would just like to be certain that my day is reserved for me! -
I am hoping someone can help ease my nerves here. I am flying into Cancun on April 13th for my girlfriends wedding at Dreams Tulum. Since I am the only one flying in from Canada I get in way later than the other guests, so I have to get to the hotel on my own. I booked my flight and hotel seperate so a transfer wasnt included. Can anyone recommend a safe way to get to the hotel? I would rather not get a private car cause that creeps me out being in a car alone in mexico for 1.5 hours. I would prefer like a big bus that goes to Dreams Tulum. Help!!

Hey Kris, I just got my dress at lunch (Evalina Couture was having a huge sale and I got my dress for $100!!!) and she told me to go see the lady across from Starbucks in garrison woods. The place is called the the sewing something? I already forget, but i know where it is so im just going to go. She highly recommended her and Evalina only carries the top designers. Hope that helps! -

Here are mine. I am having 7 girls, ranging from 6'1" to 5'2" so I let them pick any one of the three in the clover green (color of the strapless dress) and they were all super happy. -

What's your Perfume/Cologne??

I love miss dior cherie and FI loves armani code by giorgio armani -
Its beautiful! I say, this is your wedding and you should get the dress you want REGARDLESS of where you are getting married. You dont want to get a 'destination dress' just b/c you are having a destination wedding and then wish later you had gotten your dream dress. As long as your groom and the bridal party are in line with what your wearing I think its perfect!

Im sooo lost ....
*Nadine* replied to kris's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I feel ya Kris! I have 7 bmaids- so I had to consider the entire color spectrum of hair (and skin!) as well. I ended up going with green because I know the fair girls hated the idea of oranges and yellows, and if you have red hair you tend to shy away from pinks. I was deciding b/w blue and green but in the end they all liked green the best and so did I. They are wearing, the chiffon dress of their choice, in clover green from jcrew. -
Yael- I definitely prefer jcrew bathing suits over VS. They don't fade and keep their shape really well. Most of them can be mix and matched so you can buy three peices and get two suits, which is what I do alot. Plus they go on sale fast so check out the sale section. I never pay the full price, just wait for a sale. I think some of their suits are 30% off for the next couple of days as well.
-
Im with you girls! I refuse to do a bikini repeat! I am putting as much effort into having a bathing suit for each day as I am for my outfits for each night! I looove bathing suits and already have more than enough but I am not getting married until december so I know I will still be buying more. I love jcrew bathing suits, usually find some from vickys and have gotten a couple from target even.
