I remember talking to tait when i thought of doing a BD shoot (I never ended up doing one.. my hubby gets live BD instead haha) and that $150 definitely does not include the disc. I think in the end to get what I would have wanted it would have been around $500 or just under.

Kris- hmmm is it both of you together or does its how you growing up then him growing up? For us my brother in law and his gf did our slideshow and they used the song from blue crush (have you seen it?) for me and footloose for my hubby. When we made a slideshow for friends we used Viva la vida -coldplay for the groom and brown eyed girl for the girl. Also, if you are not using somewhere over the rainbow for your ceremony or other music, thats a good song that i have seen used. im drawing a blank on others right now tho so sorry im no help

I am so sorry to read about this and hear what you are going through I cannot imagine how you are feeling, its truly devastating. I truly believe that our gut instints are usually right so if you are feeling like he is lying, most likely he is. Maybe he is not lying about what exactly you think he is but something is wrong. The fact that he won't give you her phone number is a huge red flag. If he hadnt been calling her or talking to her then he would pony up the number no problem, so its pretty clear that there is more than just emails going on. And to email someone other than YOU, his wife, the day after you got back from your wedding to say he missed her, is just wrong. Make sure you follow your head on this one even if your heart is telling you something different. You deserve the truth and only once you have the truth will you be able to decide how you want to proceed. HE should be willing to give you everything you want right now if he really wants to work on things. *hugs*

The health sector is just messsed right now! I got my OOT bags on ebay and they were like $1.36 each or something? You can see them in my planning thread. They were estee lauder bags and came with cute little coin purses inside that everyone liked for carrying money and their room keys in

haha yah i agree.. if you havent been to the bridal fair yet then go.. Its not that often you get to go to the fair AS a bride so you better go at least once!

I heart vegas I go with girlfriends and we always stay at the Hard Rock (for the people and the atmosphere, but its expensive). Otherwise the MGM is a great choice, Mirage is ok, Mandalay Bay/THE Hotel is really nice. I would stay away from planet hollywood, formerly the aladdin, worst pool in vegas I think.

our extra cost was $65pp after the 20 that were included in the package for the reception. To save money on flowers we just used all our bouquets as centerpeices for the reception. They were small but they looked good and did the job. All my chair sashes, table runners etc were included in my pkg

Hi Jen, I think you saw my review already but if you haven't check it out. The resort is very kid friendly, with lots for them to do.. and there is a kids pool as well. The food was pretty good I would say. i dont think its as good as you would find in say the riviera or cabo areas, but thats b/c Huatulco isn't as touristy yet. If you aren't too picky you will find it very good! Any questions let me know

I agree with Meagan on what she all said. I think our biggest expenses (other than the reception $/pp) were our wedding party attire (we bought for all of them), their gifts, and the OOT bags. We didnt do invitations and we kept everything else really simple to keep costs down. WE also got the wedding package with the hotel which included alot of things so we wouldnt have to pay seperately and in turn more money, cause it really adds up.

Aut - didnt Nate just give you a disc with all your pics?? So cant you do the color enhancements yourself? Im confused.. He posted one teaser on his blog yesterday from our wedding and mentioned that he will be posting more again today so i will be stalking his blog. I wouldnt worry about him getting too tuckered out before you wedding Jess, if you read his entry about his trip to my wedding, I dont think he could get any more tired than that!! And he still rocked it:)

Hey Jen, no problem! we stayed on the resort the entire time but some of our guests went on excursions; the guys went golfing one morning (super hot and they were attacked by some no seeums, so not sure if its recommended cause of the heat), there was a mud bath excursion, snorkeling(people really enjoyed snorkeling) and then some people did the waterfalls. I dont have personal experience b/c we just wanted to stay on the resort and be with everyone. We also had our rehearsal dinner in the Portofino restaurant but im sure there are some nice restaurants in town that you could go to. Any other questions let me know

I just used him this past December, and although I haven't gotten my pics yet, I can say that he was awesome. I was actually just watching our wedding video last night (that the hotel did) and he was everywhere in it, but during the ceremony I dont remember seeing him at all. He is super nice and easy to get along with and he works the entire time. My pics should be the last ones he posts until his next wedding in april
