    aw your pics are great!!! Very detailed review! I actually arrived at dreams tulum on april 13th for my girlfriends wedding, which was on the 17th, and it was beautiful too! Great resort and I know other DT brides will appreciate all the info! You looked gorgeous, congrats!

    I have to second 'daddys angel' by T Carter. I was just at a wedding at Dreams Tulum three weeks ago, and I had never heard it before.     all of our guests are getting travel mugs so we were thinking cigars (cause even men who dont smoke, dont mind a cigar to celebrate with on vacation!) or mini footballs.

    I think thats pretty common. With booking for our wedding we only had so long for people to book and get the group rate we had received. If they booked after the deadline they would just get whatever rate was available. It wasnt so much our choice as it was the travel agent/carrier but I was honestly happy that it happened like that! We had 60 people put down a deposit in those three weeks, and now we have some stragglers that will still come and book but its nice to know sooner than later who is coming to your wedding.

    I agree that long engagements suck but for a different reason. We got engaged last april and are getting married this december. We had about 90 people on board but now with everything that is going on with the economy that number is starting to drop. Not only that but one of my bmaids just found out she is pregnant and due right before the wedding so im 99% sure she won't be there. Ugh. SHould have just not worried about giving people time to save so more people could come cause in the end i think its biting us in the a**!

    I found 40 of these bags on ebay for $1.40 each! They even come with that little red makeup bag which will be perfect for room keys and cash for the pool. They are not our wedding colors - at all- but I like that they are a fun nautical print and the girls will actually use them! Every couple and/or single girl will get them, and then we will get dif bags (probably paper) for the single guys since they don't care at all about a bag.

    I was just at a wedding 3 weeks ago at dreams tulum and it was so much fun and so perfect! My friend was married on the beach behind the seaside grill and then they had their reception at the seaside grill. I highly recommend having it in there b/c you get shelter from all the wind and they set it up so nicely. I saw a bunch of recptions by the pool and on the beach, which were beautiful as well.

    Travel mugs - like coffee travel mugs. Lots of people take them on vacation because then you can keep your drinks cold in them much longer than in those little plastic cups they hand out at the bars(so your pina colada actually stays as a frozen drink instead of melting into a juice drink in like 5 min!). Most girls get their logo or something printed on the mugs too to personalize them. Check out discountmugs.com to see the kind we are talking about!

    I know me too. I keep going back and forth. Im having 7 girls (well maybe, one is due nov 25th so we will see if she can make it now) and am buying all their dresses. Will probably spend $150-$200 on each of them. With everything going on in the economy right now, I wanted to help out as much as i can-hence buying their dresses-but i also want to get them a nice gift to show my appreciation. What are you thinking for your girls??

    Im not really sure how that stuff works kim but hopefully silver will be back soon with a full report and answers for you! Id ont think it costs extra for table cloths, but maybe candles?? Unless it mentions it on the package list (whichever you are going with) I would think it costs extra. I know alot of brides take down their own tulle for the chairs cause its ALOT cheaper than what they charge you. I will definitlely be doing that!

    I like the turquoise! The pink is more flowy cause its chiffon but I looove the turqouise! Great idea, so cute, they will love it!

    I absolutely loved everything about your wedding, your pics were amazing!! I love how bright your flowers were, they totally popped! I almost got a amy kuschel dress as well and loved all her dresses, yours was stunning, congrats!!

    Good choice Miranda! I just saw this now and before I saw your reply I was going to say I definitely think you should wear your glasses. I had mentioned before that my biggest pet peeves about brides is ones who dont look like themselves on their wedding day. Whether its styling of their hair, or the amount of make up they wear, or even the dress they chooce..I just think a bride should be themselves on their big day.. So yayyyy on your choice!!!

    KarlaS - I sent out magnet STDs last june (I have been engaged just over a year now) and dont think I will even send out invites. Just because 95% of my guests are already booked, or have a deposit down to book. I kinda see it as a waste of money but thats just me!

    Ah silver your already gone and I missed wishing you goodluck/congratulations!!! Cant wait to hear all about it. I was just at dreams tulum all last week, and just got back last night. My gf got married there and it was amazing, made me so so much more excited for mine! cant wait for pics and a review!!!
