We aren't doing anything personalized in our bags I dont think. We are getting travel mugs but we don't want our names on them b/c we want our guests to use them again so instead we are just putting 'Huatulco, Mexico'. Thats as close to personalization that we get!

I have one and I like it.. its not as convenient as a pop open but I actually prefer this style over the other. Very cute!

Congratulations you both look so happy and gorgeous! And I agree with all the other girls, I havent seen a wedding dress like yours before, and I love that!!

I would say it would be a little much to wear both.. one would take away from the other.. but thats just my opinion! Why not wear the tiara for the ceremony and then the flower for the reception? Just an idea

I would like to get in on this starfish! Is it just a plain white one or is it colored? I tried to find a picture but didn't see one. My wedding is December 29th at dreams huatulco, and we leave on December 25th

We aren't planning on sending invites, as of now, just b/c everyone who is coming is already booked or in the process of booking. I know there is the 'etiquette' that we should, but then again our wedding isnt traditional at all and alot of the etiquette I think is personal opinions. If we do decide to send out invites, then I guess we would send them out to everyone regardless if they booked their trip or not.

I was just at my gfs wedding at dreams tulum and it was very very windy when she got married. SO windy that her and the groom had to switch sides b/c her veil was blowing all over her face. Once they switched sides it blew away from her which was beautiful. The breeze was actually nice cuase it was quite hot still!

That last picture of you two in black and white is GORGEOUS! I am so in love with it. Congrats on your beautiful wedding!!

So I was going to go through the etsy seller megan listed on here for the wraps but then looking again at smartypants, I found a script font and ribbon color (called watermelon - green, pink, white, purple) I really like so I just ordered 9 of them (for me and all my bmaids) and Joy is so awesome to work with. She is only charging me $21 each (instead of $27)! I'll post them when I get a picture of them Not sure what else to get them yet.. some kind of a clutch I think..

I was told to budget $400 but i think thats rather high. Considering I got my dress for $100 (nicole miller at a sample sale) I don't mind paying around $300-$400 though. I have to: -have it taken in everywhere(its mermaid fit and a little loose on me) -add a corset (or something to make it sit up on me so im not pulling it up all the time) Thats it.. maybe it won't be that much after reading all these other posts?!

We did the same thing and our wedding date changed b/c we were able to move it earlier in the week. But like you, our guests are all flying there to be there that whole week anyways, so it doesnt matter what day it was on. And if you have people coming in on different days than just that week, make sure you let them know in advance that the date may move up a day or two.

This decision has to be YOUR decision, not anyone else's. Just like when other people plan their weddings, they don't talk to everyone first and find out what they all would prefer. Its your wedding, your choice. You will never find somewhere that makes everyone happy, its just how it is. If its really important that your one friend be there and that your dad and step mom be there, then you might need to reevaluate your decision, but if thats not a huge factor, then stick with where you are. Just make sure wherever you book, it is where the people that you want there, will be there.

Jac- do you get a discount to ship to canada too(im in alberta)? This could be worth it for me b/c I wouldnt have to pay the high shipping charges AND duty (if you sent it labelled as a gift) they always charge to ship up north. Let me know, I might be in for 40.
