Mayanlily thats what we did too.. None of our guests even commented or cared. And truth be told i know alot of people who spent money on invites and then half the people dont rsvp anyways!

We didnt do invitations.. We did Save the dates about 15mths before our wedding and then by the time we should have been sending out invites everyone had already committed/booked so it would have been pointless and a waste of money IMO. So im no help!

I think alot of people do that.. but its a real personal thing so I dont think anyone can really help you on this one! Think of little inside jokes b/w you two, favorite places, special dates, sayings etc. Make it meaningful.

I agree Tlseege! I thought it was perfect that it rained too and they were so cute about it. And it was their own choice cause it said that they were going to be married outside now matter waht, rain or shine. So I dont think it wa sup to the wedding coordinator, thats what they wanted.

I agree.. Just take a deep breath and relax. So many brides get caught up in the little things and stress themselves out when there is no need! Having a DW is relatively stress feel and it should be FUN. Just enjoy the process and dont stress over things you have no control over.

Since neither of us are religious we didnt have to participate in any pre-marital counseling, like some religions/churches have you do..but we actually talked about signing up for a weekend seminiar or some courses b/c I have always only heard good things.

I kinda think your being bridezilla to be honest.. Its a little nuts to think just b/c you are getting married that that noone else can go there before your wedding.. dont you think?? We picked our hotel for the same exact reason you picked yours (new hotel, noone had been to huatulco, and noone had been to the resort). However my sister ended up going down for another gfs wedding right before ours and went and visited the hotel and it was awesome cause she gave me great feedback about it. There are much bigger things in life to worry about than your MIL visiting your resort!! Thats my two cents.

Cara -I am so so sorry about your father and am crying reading your post. I am sure he is in a better place now and will always be with you. You sound very strong and I am sure he would be proud of you for continuing on wtih your wedding. He will be there in spirit. And Christina- also crying b/c of your post. Im so sorry about being blindsided by your ex-FI. They say everything happens for a reason, even if we cant see it right away. The only thing I have ever been able to tell myself when I have went through break ups is that I deserved to be with someone who 100% wanted to be with me, and if htey didnt then they didnt deserve me. And obviously your ex was not the one for you. And if anything, at least it happened now before you made this marriage committment. *Hugs*

I thought it was a sincere apology.. I mean we are all human and we all make mistakes.. People do this shiat all the time, they just dont happen to have it covered all over the media. At least he apologized. Some celebrities dont even do that.

I saw it this weekend and loved it! It was super cute. I thought all the actors and their roles were perfect for each other. And some pretty unexpected moments that really made us laugh!
