    so, im not getting married here but we do plan on honeymooning here after our wedding in Huatulco. Do you guys know how the weather typically is in Jan?? We would get there on Jan 1st. I hope its not cold?!

    we are doing ours before as well and not telling anyone. I dont think anyone would even think to ask us beforehand if we were getting legally married here. and if they did, then we would say what others have said, that we had to do some paperwork here but our wedding day would be the day in mexico. They can take it as they want!

    hahah alot of people give OOT bags for their guests to use while on the vacation. A bag to carry all their beach gear, a travel mug to keep drinks cold, medication packs (advil, pepto etc), lip balm with spf.. you will find alot of info on here.

    blackrose - eek! Sorry that that happened to you I still dont think that just b/c they are getting married before you, she stole your thunder though. They will have their day and then you will have the 8mths after that and your day! And if you want cupcakes, HAVE cupcakes. If you want those bmaid dresses, have those bmaid dresses. Dont change anything just b/c of someone else! Otehr than your FIs family, noone else will be at both your weddings, right? sorry you feel your wedding has been tainted

    We are definitely taking our rings. Im a true believer that the safest place for your rings is on your finger at all times! I never take mine off. If someone wants to steal it from me while im in mexico, they are going to have to fight me first

    yes you really have to try them Kathy, you will seriously love them. I thought they were gay too then put my feet in them and its like walking on marshmallow and clouds all in one. They keep your feet so warm. they are kind of expensive yes (depending what you mean by expensive)

    LMAO Erika!! hilarious... I heart my uggs too.. i dont care how they look, they are a life saver in the winter! I actually saw people wearing them last night at the movies, thats how awesome this summer has been. I confess that I havent done much work today other than shop for wedding shoes and honeymoon locations.

    Yep I agree with everyone else. We are each having 7 and its been awesome. All of our attendants live outside of where we live though so I did dress shopping with family instead and we just chose and bought their outfits (dresses from jcrew and outfits from banana) and had them shipped to them. Its your day
